"Where are you taking me?" Nadira asked as she was forcefully pulled by Ananya. She was just resting in the garden with her maids when this woman came out of nowhere and started to drag her.
"You will know it soon. Just be silent for a moment" Ananya replied and pulled her towards schedule place of the palace. Nadira looked around and frowned.
"Why did you bring me here? This is the most schedule place. Are you hiding something?" Nadira couldn't help but ask.
Ananya stopped walked and let go of her arm before turning around to look at her, "there's nothing to hide but I feel like you are hiding everything. So I want to know the truth"
"What truth are you talking about?"
"Hmm... About Anirudh?"
Nadira was startled, "I don't know what are you talking about. Why did you suddenly brought his topic up? He is related to you not me"
Ananya rolled her eyes. "Of course, you can deny all you want. I thought we are good friends and we share everything together but who could have known that you don't think the same way as I do. Alas! All these years I was in delusion"
"Don't try to blackmail me emotionally. What do you want to know?" Nadira asked.
Ananya grinned, "first tell me what's going on between you two? You two know eachother don't you?"
Nadira nodded, "there was a time we had close relationship but that's all in the past. Both of us were young and couldn't figure out things clearly. I guess we were in such stage of age where we actually don't know what we want from our heart"
"Is that true? I mean if that matters is resting in past now then why are you still effective with his presence?" Ananya hold her hand, "Nadira I know it's not my place to interfere between you two but I just want to say that if you have true feelings for eachother then you should place your trust too. Get the explanation done to make the final conclusion, of course before it's too late"
Nadira bite her lips. Ananya looked at her then said again, "this is why I think you both should talk more so there will be no sense of regret in the future"
"What—" Nadira was saying when Ananya pushed the door open and pushed Nadira inside before closing the door. She wiped her hand grinned at the door, "ah! It's good. You better not disappoint me cousin" then she left giggling.
Inside the room Nadira banged on the door, "Ananya, this is not a joke open the door. Open the door" she shouted banging the door.
"Stop shouting. You aren't alone here" when Anirudh's voice sounded behind her she was startled. She turned around abruptly and was shocked to see him there sitting on the chair comfortably.
"You ...it's all your planning" she pointed at him angrily. "What the hell do you want from me to trick me like this?"
Anirudh got up from chair " I want you, is it too hard to understand?"
"How dare you to say that? After cheating behind me you have the nerve to say it?" Her eyes widened.
"For god's sake I didn't cheat" Anirudh closed his eyes feeling frustrated, "why don't you let me explain it for once?"
Nadira looked at his anged expression then remembered what Ananya said. She heaved a sigh then nodded, "fine, you want to explain then do it. Let's listen what you have to say" she crossed her arms and waited for his reply.
Anirudh was startled with her agreement then quickly collected himself, "that day I came to find you. But you were no where to seen. Then I saw Princess Shayna, she told me you went down the mountain to collect flowers with your maid and would be late to return. So I decided to wait for you in the garden. Princess Shayna offered a drink while waiting. She said she knows about us was happy for it. I didn't expect her to trick me into drinking that drugged tea. I couldn't collect my sanity after drinking the tea. And when she tried to kiss me I saw your face in her and thought it was you for moment and initiated the kiss. But it felt all wrong and I pushed her away and left the garden. I didn't know you were there to witness such tragic scene. I have wanted to explain the moment I saw you but you left without letting me say a word. I did kiss but it wasn't willingly, it all happened because of the drug effect. I was happy that it was you..." He stopped and looked at her expression.
