Trapped into Twilight

The car accident

Sorry for the lateish update!! 

         Throughout the day, I couldn't concentrate on anything!

I could only think about the car crash that was supposed to take place in the school parking lot after school today and that was bad enough that it sorta HAD to happen, no matter what. 

So far, I think that this story is a mix between the movie and the book but hopefully there will be more scenes from the book because we have the actual book.

During lunch, my sister handed me the book and let me browse through it a bit before we agreed (Herah and Sarah) to meet up at my house again to carefully read through it. 

But of course, before that could happen... Alex was supposed to save me from this car and I couldn't keep worrying What if he doesn't stop the car?? What if he gets hurt? What if we BOTH get hurt? What if I die??? What if-

Suddenly the bell rang and dimissed us. Gulp.

It was last class and now I was supposed to be waiting at my car.. Great.......

I grabbed my windbreaker out of my locker because it was muggy out then trudged up to the only red truck. I looked around for Alex and hoped that he was there.

Just as I saw him I heard the terrible screeching sounds of a car that lost control.

I gulped and pressed onto my car hoping it would avoid me but of course, NOT! 

All of a sudden, right before my life flashed before my eyes, I heard a sound which consisted of something being bent. More like my life! 

I carefully opened my eyes to see (thankfully) that Alex was there and stopped the car!

I sighed in relief. First important/scary event? Check.

I hugged him and wiped my forehead. Was I that nervous? Then I realized the throbbing in my head.

Alex gave me a quick smile, asked me if I was alright, then went away because if people knew he had superhuman powers, they would all be questioning his.. uh. Humanity? Human state. Which he's not.

I groaned in frusteration as the driver came out to meet me and apologize. I brushed it aside and stood up. Right before the driver left, I saw that dent and smiled.

Herah and Sarah hopped into my car the first thing, after the accident. A lot of people came up to me asking if I was okay so it was hard for Sarah and Herah to come to me. I kept it brief and thanked the people for being so concerned about me. They eventually left a few minutes after because I wansn't making a big deal out of it. 

The last two people to see me was Ben and Mike. 

"Wow, stupid drivers huh!" Mike said as he crossed his arms.

I laughed, "I'm fine, Really!"

Ben looked at me closely. "How did you not get hurt?"

Uh... Great question! Too bad I can't tell you the truth.

Herah quickly interrupted.

"She is hurt. She just got scarred for life so it would be nice you guys went away." 

"Wow Jessica, feisty like always." Ben replied.

"Wait who's Jessica?" Herah asked.

"You?" Mike said.

"Ohhh yeahh" She said confused.

Eric came out of nowhere (a guy we have lunch with) and joined Mike and Ben. 

"Hey! I heard about the car thing, you alright?"

I rolled my eyes and pushed them towards the car door.

"Yeah, sure, okay bye guys!" I said to Ben and Mike and Eric.

They waved then went away.

I sighed as I sat in the driver's seat. 

"What's wrong?" Sarah asked.

"Oh nothing...." I said trailing off.

The truth was, I could tell that Mike and Ben and Eric liked me, If not, It said in the book. 

But I didn't want to reject them, as I was supposed to go out with Alex.

The truth was, Mike and Ben and Eric are really cool guys but they clearly couldn't tell that I was (in the real world) going out with Alex.

Of course, I knew that it would have to happen some time but I just wished maybe it wouldn't happen.
