Trapped into Twilight

Post-Meadow

The first thing I did after I woke up was make sure that Alex was sleeping right beside me.

I turned my head slowly, hoping that I wasn't disappointed.

I wasn't.

He laid there perfectly still, eyes closed.

I sort of smiled to myself and turned my head again.

"I know you were looking at me"

I turned my head to face Alex again and smiled at him again.

His eyes were still closed, but he smiled back.

"How did you know?"

He ignored the remark and put his arm over my arm, reaching for my hand.

"You know, you talk a lot"

"No, I don't-"

"I mean when you sleep."

I thought about that for a second. Did I really?

He must've sensed my confusion and added, "I didn't sleep."

"Ohhh" I said trailing off.

Lucky vampires. I wish I didn't have to sleep so you know, I could stay up all night to do homework. But that was in the reality world. This was Twilight saga world.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps. I stood up from my bed quickly and the door opened.

I look back, but Alex wasn't there anymore.

"Wha-" I started

"Hey Bella, I was just gonna say that I'm going to be out in about-" Charlie looked down at his watch, "5 minutes, so I left some fried eggs on the kitchen table."

I nodded and gave him a quick smile. "Thanks!"

"Well, see you later bud"

My 'dad' left my room and after I heard him close the front door, I sighed of relief and turned around.

I took a couple of steps back and stumbled to see that Alex was there again, standing near the window.

"Dude! You almost gave me a heart attack" I said holding my hand to my heart and breathing big gulps.

He grinned his crooked grin and put his hands in my pocket.

"Relax, I'll be out in a few too."

After hearing that, I frowned in the inside, disappointed.

"Why?" I asked.

"Cuz you'll be coming over later"

"I am??" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm gonna introduce you to my fam"

"Oh. Great."

"Yeah.. you know that you're also going to have to introduce me to Charlie soon, don't you?"

I nodded.

"Good. Well, see you later" He walked towards me and kissed my forehead.

"Don't forget, 2:00 alright?" Alex added.

I nodded again, not wanting him to leave me.

He did.

One second he was here, and the next second, he was out the window. In a blink of an eye.
