Trapped into Twilight

How it all goes down

Soon after, I peeked through the curtains of the kitchen to see if they left or not; They did.

After I saw that they left, I went straight to my bedroom.

"Herah?" I said before walking in.

"Yeah?" 

I breathed a sigh of relief and smiled knowing that she was in there.

I opened the door and saw her on my computer, looking up information about Vampires.

"This internet is very slow." She pointed out.

I nodded.

"Yeah..." 

"So how'd it goooooooo" She said, still scrolling through the computer.

"Eh" I said

"Well, how was seeing Sarah?" 

I laughed, remembering how excited she was to see me.

"She was... really happy" 

"That's gooooooodddd" 

I looked at my sister, annoyed.

"Well, whatcha got there?" 

"A shitload of information."

I stood next to her, looking at the articles she was reading about vampires and immortality.

Herah looked at me. 

"Jen, I'm kinda really scared for you right now."

I nodded. 

"So am I. But in order to get out of this book, I mean, what other choice do we have?"

Herah sighed and kept looking through the computer.

"Why can't we be trapped into some.. like Caillou book or something. Or like. I don't knowww Frozen??" 

"Well that would be nice... Speaking of, I met Queen Elsa at Edward's house" I said

"Really??" 

I laughed, "No, but Rosalie comes pretty close"

"Ohh that girl" 

I nodded again. 

"Yeah... She's... really pretty. Prettier than how the movie portrays her."

"When can I meet herrrrr" 

"You probably can't"

"Why nottttt"

"Cuz you're not Edward's girlfriendddd"

Herah left her seat and plopped on my bed. 

"What time's the game at?"

"I guess like 7." I said

"Well that leaves you like, Enough time to like. talk to me" 

"Yeah I guess"

"What do you want to talk about?"

"I don't know."

"Come on Jennnnnnn. I know you're... scared and stuff.. I mean I am too. I don't know what I'm going to do after you leave."

"Probably go home, I don't want you to get hurt." 

She huffed.

"I want to see the baseball game though. Can I go?"

"No"

"Whyyyyyy"

I looked at Herah in the eyes.

"Listen, If we don't finish the book the way it's written, we'll never get out. In fact, we'll probably have to keep acting until... Breaking Dawn. And there is no way I'm going to have sex with Alex before marriage"

"Well you guys would be married by then..." She trailed off

"Yeah, but not in Reality!" I said exasperated.

I sat on the edge of the bed, annoyed. 

"Well... I guess..."

"Let's talk about something else. Like. What other stories do you want to go into?"

"Does it have to be a book?" 

"I don't think so...." 

Thinking about it, all the books we've been into were actually made into movies.

"Oh good, Cuz I'm seriously trying to get into Frozen. I want to Anna. You can be Elsa."

I laughed, "Oh yeah? And how about Sarah?"

Herah contemplated.

"Hm.... She could be.. the mom... or... the reindeer.. or olaf..."

"Olaf?"

"Yeah, I mean if you think about it, a snowman doesn't really have a gender."

"True..." 

"And you'll be Queen Elsa"

I smiled at that thought but it slowly faded away, knowing that I would have to hurt people while being a Queen, so I changed the topic.

"What else?"

"Eh, I don't really care honestly. I think all Disney movies are worth being trapped into. Toy Story, Cars, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, you name it"

"I hope this is the closest thing to a horror book we ever get" I said.

"I agree, cuz I'm bored as heck being this girl" She pointed at herself.

"I'd rather be Sarah."

"Same. She's so lucky."

We sat next to each other quietly, thinking about... the future.

After a few seconds, I got up, getting ready to leave. 

"I'm gonna have to leave soon" I said.

"Oh joy" Herah said, without much enthusiasm. 

"You'll liveeee"

"Sure" 

She walked me out of the house and I said my goodbyes with her.

"Do you want someone to drive you home or.."

"Nah, it's fine, I got my friend, Ben"

"Oh true... you guys go something going on or something?" 

"Nah, we're just friends."

"That's what they all say!" I said as I saw Edward's car coming into the driveway.

I got into the car and waved at Herah.

Alex waved as well, and Herah waved back.

As we drove away, I slumped into my seat.

I wish I had my iPhone with me 

I looked out the window, hoping that I didn't have to face this kind of fate again. 

I also hoped that somehow, this James-attacking-me thing didn't actually happen and that I was saved somehow miraculously. 

But the odds were never in my favor.
