Trapped into Twilight

Edward's family

Later in the day, I was in my bedroom with Herah looking through my- er Bella's- closet.

What kind of clothes are these? I thought to myself as I rummage through the kind of outfits she had. It was not as I expected, considering the fact that I usually wore skinny jeans every day.

Finally, I settled on the leggings I bought when Edward saved me that one day and an oversized sweater that was actually really comfortable.

My sister just sat on my bed looking bored.

"I wish I had my iPhone" She yawned.

I laughed and looked around my room to see if there was anything for her to entertain herself with but didn't find anything close to an iPhone. I shrugged it off and started heading down the stairs.

"See you guys in a bit!" I shouted over my shoulder, half to my dad, half to my sister.

I closed the door behind me and saw Edward's car in the driveway.

"Hey" I said as I got into his car.

He backed out of the driveway and we were on our way to his house. 

"So some things about my family... Well you already know Alice cuz she's Sarah. Rosalie and Emmet aren't home because they're... well let's just say that Rosalie doesn't approve of our relationship just yet." 

I nodded. I remembered reading that part of the book.

"So, at least it won't be too awkward for you"

 "Yeah, I just hope nothing goes wrong. Did you tell Sarah that I was coming over?" 

"Nah, I didn't really say much to them after I got home." 

"Oh, well I hope you parents are okay with that..." 

"They are, don't worry. They're actually really nice for vampires." He laughed.

I laughed nervously along with him. 

Pretty soon, we were at his house and we got off the car.

He took my hand and walked into his house. 

I didn't know whether to take off my shoes because that's just something I do at my house every day, but I saw the pile of shoes near the door so I just took them off as well.

"Carlisle, Esme" 

My heart beat a little faster and I readied myself for the first encounter of Edward's parents.

"Relax" He whispered quickly

We walked towards the kitchen and there were his parents.

The first thing I noticed was how happy they looked together. 

They were in the middle of chopping vegetables and I felt like I ruined their special moment. 

"H- Hi- Hello" I stammered.

"This is the girl I've fallen in love with" Alex said with a grin.

I narrowed my eyes at that comment but quickly looked up with an attempt of a smile.

I expected them to narrow their eyes at me as well, but they seemed to be excited to know that I was here. 

Suddenly, I hear someone running towards me and at that moment, I know that it's Sarah.

"O M G! Girl I missed you!!" She quickly hugged me and kissed my cheek. 

"You know her?" Esme asked, confused.

"Uh.... Yeah.... I got to school with her haha" Sarah said.

"Yeah, we eat together at lunch," I added weakly

Esme nodded and smiled again. 

Sarah smiled at me too, then went back to the living room, or wherever she was before to Jasper I suppose. 

"So, is it okay if I show her around the house?" Edward asked.

The two both nodded and we were off. 

First, we went to the nearest staircase, going up. 

As I looked around the house, I realized how it wasn't really different than any human house that I've seen before. Interesting. 

Eventually, we ended up near a piano. He sat down on the bench and cracked his knuckles. 

If only I had my phone, I thought. It was a beautiful sight, seeing him about to play the piano right in front of the beautiful rays of the sun, shattered by the window. I wiped a tear away, but listening to the first few chords of the song, I couldn't stop crying. 

When he finished playing, I wiped my tears away and smiled at him.

"It was. Simply amazing."

He smiled back and hugged me.

"Well, I'm glad that you approve. Cuz if you didn't, I'd play more." 

"You should!!" I protested.

"Should I?" He asked.

I nodded furiously, still wiping away my tears. 

He sat down again and starting playing another song. It sounded a lot like River Flows in You. 

I smiled the whole time, listening to the song. 

In reality, he actually had no idea how to play the piano, so seeing him right now, in the story, playing such a soothing song, I was moved.

After he finished the second song, he said, "I wrote it for you, Jennifer."

That made cry even harder and I laughed. Why was I crying so much? Maybe my period starts tomorrow. Maybe Bella was at this moment in the book. Maybe it's because my boyfriend is playing piano for the first time. 

Who knows. All I knew was that this moment made me the happiest girl in the world.
