Trapped into Twilight

Blood testing

It was biology and I was half way falling asleep until the teacher announced that we were going to do blood testing.

I sat up straight completely awake. I looked around the classroom.

The teacher was handing out instruments for the lab.

I gulped.

"Are there any volunteers perhaps? It's for a good cause guys, just do it." The teacher said.

Apparently there was a blood drive soon and we were to know our blood types. Thank God it wasn't mandatory!

The teacher scanned the room and I pretended to be invisible.

"Ah! We have a volunteer!" 

I sat in my chair frozen.

Was he talking to me???

Suddenly a girl that was sitting behind me went up to the teacher.

I sighed in relief.

"Now pay attention! Especially you, Mike. Always staring off into space like a hopeless kid lost in love." My teacher shook his head.

I looked away from the direction of Mike because that's exactly who he was.

We all attempted to look closely at the volunteer.

There were sharp tools and as the teacher pierced the girl's finger, I was slowly getting dizzy.

I gripped the table's edge hoping not to accidental fall out of my chair

"Now you see, you have to take the blood and-"

One sight of blood, I lost all consciousness.

When I awoke, I saw Mike and a bunch of other people hovering over me.

I groaned and rubbed my head. I must've hurt it the same place I hurt it when Tyler's stupid car hit me.

"Bella! Bella! Are you okay??"

Who's this Bella girl and why is he talking to her and not me I thought annoyed until I realized that I was Bella.

I tried to sit up but Mike insisted to help me up. 

I shook my head and tried to smile.

Mike insisted again and led me out of the classroom when we bumped into Alex.

"A-Alex!" 

Mike looked at me weird.

"You must've hit your head hard! Uh, Edward, It's fine, I can take her to the-" Mike started

Edward cut him off.

He picked me up bridal style and started walking.

"Go back into class." Alex said.

I tried to look up to see Mike's facial expression but he was already gone. Oh well.

I tried to pretend I was okay with Alex picking me up and carrying me but I felt like a little kid.

"I-I can walk you know." 

He gave me a look that said something like, "Yeah right".

"No, really, I'm fine."

"Just let me hold you a little bit longer, dang."

I smiled to myself. At least he was finally acting like he liked me.

As he carried me to the nurse, kids lingering in the hallways turned to look at me awkwardly.

As I ignored their weird looks, I thought about lunch earlier and how Alex beckoned me to his table. He was sitting alone, so Jessica advised that I went over to his table since I talked to him before.
