"What's wrong beau?" I ask him.
"What did you do today?" He asks.
"Went to Daniels for awhile. What did you do?" I ask.
"Why are you two hangin out so much? He's my best friend. I don't really like it..." He says.
"Well he's my friend too. So get over it." I say.
He leans up and hits the bed.
"What's going on between you two?! You all have been all over each other and you all are constantly texting. Tell me what's going on!!" He says frustratedly.
"Nothing beau! We are just good friends!!! I've just been trying to help him lately since his mum passed away! Since when was that a crime?!" I say.
"Well he's MY best friend!" Beau says.
"What ever beau." I say.
"Don't whatever me! I don't like you two hanging out!" He says.
"Well too bad!!" I say.
"Not too bad! I don't want you all hanging out anymore! I forbid it!" He says.
"You aren't the boss of me!" I say.
"I don't care! I'm telling you not to talk to him anymore!!" Beau says.
"I can do what ever the hell I want! Leave! Get out of here!" I say.
"No! I'm not leave till you promise to stop talking to him!" He says.
"NO!" I yell.
Luke comes in. He looks half asleep.
"What is going on?" Luke asks.
"Beau won't leave!!" I say.
"I said i won't leave until you promise to stop talking to him!" Beau says.
"No!!!" I yell.
"Who?" Luke asks.
"Daniel! He's my friend too! You're just jealous because he's sending more time with me than you! Now leave my room now!" I say.
"No! I'm not jealous! You aren't allowed to see him anymore!" Beau says.
"MUM!!!!" I scream.
"No! Shh!!!" Luke says. "She's sleeping!"
"I don't care!" I say.
My mum comes in.
"What is going on?" She asks.
"Tell beau to leave!!" I yell.
"No! I'm not leaving!" Beau says.
"Why?" Mum asks.
"She's been hanging out with skip a lot lately and I don't like it!! I don't want her around him anymore!" He says.
"They're friends too, beau." She says.
"I don't care!! He was my friend first!! Leave him alone and stop trying to take him from me!!" Beau yells.
"Get out of my fucking room!!" I yell.
"No!" He yells.
"Beau! Get out now." Mum says.
"But-"
"Now! I'm not going to tell you again!" Mum cuts him off.
He grunts and stomps out and shoving Luke when he walks past him.
"Shes a Fucking bitch..."
"That's it beau! You're grounded!" Mum says as she walks after him.
"What was that about?" Luke asks.
"I don't even know. He's really pissing me off." I say.
"Yea." He says.
I look back at my laptop. He comes over and lays in my bed. I put my laptop up.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Going to sleep." He says and closes his eyes.
I smile.
"No Luke." I say. "Go to your bed."
"Noooo." He says.
"Why?" I ask.
"I wanna sleep in here." He says.
I shake my head
"You're getting too old for this. You're 17, Luke." I say.
"So...." He says.
I lay my head on his stomach and wrap my arm around his lower waist. He lays his hand on my back.
"What if I like Daniel?" I ask quietly.
"What?!" He asks.
"Kidding..." I say and laugh a little.
"Good." He says.
I lean up and lay my hand on his stomach. I look at him.
"Why is beau getting so mad about me being friends with Daniel? I mean. It's not a big deal." I say.
"I don't know. You know how he gets...don't worry about it." He says.
"Ok." I say.
I get up and turn the lights off. I lay in bed beside Luke. He turns on his side and faces me.
"Goodnight." He says and kisses my forehead.
"Goodnight." I say.
He lays his hand on my arm and we both fall asleep.
