It's a week later. I wake up and get ready for the day. The boys are still asleep. I decide to go to the gym and work out. About 2 hours later I see skip walk in. He smiles at me. I continue to work on my machine. He talks to someone for a little bit than walks over to me.
"hey." he says.
"hey." I say.
"how are you?" he asks.
"I'm good. Almost done."
"oh." he says.
"are you working out today?" I ask.
"no. I left my shoes here the other day. I just came to get them." he says.
"but don't you need your shoes to- Nevermind." i say.
"hey. So I was wondering...maybe we can go out sometime." he says shyly.
Awe. It's cute how he gets all shy.
"like when?" I ask.
"up to you." he says.
"how about tonight?" I ask.
"that's good. You wanna go out to dinner and bowling or something?" he asks.
"sure! Sounds good." I say.
"so I guess I'll see you tonight." he says.
"yea. I would hug you but I smell awful!" I say.
He hugs me anyways.
"I don't care. You should know that by now." he says.
I just smile.
"cya" I say.
He leaves. I finish and head home I shower and get ready. I sit in the living room with the twins.
"what are you doing tonight?" Luke asks as him and jai play some Xbox game.
"I think I'm hanging out with Skip." I say.
I get stares from both of them.
"what?" I ask
"why?" Luke asks.
"we are friends?" I say.
Jai rolls his eyes.
"don't roll your eyes at me." I say and flick his head.
"ow..." he says.
"anyways. We are just going bowling." I say.
"and then he'll wanna take you to his place and get in your pants." Luke says.
"no he won't. He isnt like that towards me. So lay off." I say
"why don't you go for James or something." jai says.
"because. I don't want to. What do you all have against Daniel anyways? He's your best friend?" I say.
"exactly. He's our best friend. We know everything. We know how many girls he has used. We know how many hearts he's broke." Luke says.
"what ever. It's not like he even likes me. We probably won't even date. So it doesnt matter." I say.
I get a text from Daniel saying hes here. I get up.
"try not to kill each other while I'm gone." I say.
"we won't." jai says and smiles.
"love you." Luke says.
"love you too." I say before closing the door.
