The weekend had arrived and Levi went to the supermarket to buy groceries.
Why is everything so god dammed expensive?
Then he suddenly heard a voice behind him
"Levi?"
Oh god no, this is my worst nightmare, just keep walking
But the sound of cart wheels behind were approaching fast.
"Hey Levi, it's me, Eren"
Levi's heart skipped a beat and he stood still, not even turning around to face the brunette
"Oh hi Eren"
"What are you doing here?"
At the supermarket? Bowling of course"
"Ha ha, okay I'm an idiot I get it now" Eren replied sarcastically
"You're not..."
Eren finally faced him and Levi froze at the sight of him
"So, what are you cooking today? What? Instant soup!?"
Eren was surprised at finding Levi's cart almost empty and full of cheap, unhealthy stuff whilst he had his full of vegetables and meat for his family of three.
"I'm a man of simple tastes"
"You're a grownup! You should know how to cook"
"You're acting like a mother, again"
"Sorry it's just th..."
"Just let it go" Levi replied softly
Levi was starting to feel embarrassed, of course he wanted to buy better food but he simply couldn't afford it
"No. I would like to buy you dinner tonight"
I really shouldn't but I want to say yes, so so badly... also I could save a couple dollars
"So? Levi, you there?"
"Yes"
"So you're going?"
"No"
"Oh ok" Eren replied quietly
"I mean yes, yes I want to have dinner with you"
By this point both males where giddy and blushed
"Okay then, should I pick you up at 6?"
Levi really didn't wanted Eren to see where he lived so he answered quickly and almost screaming
"No! I'll meet you there"
He gulped and lowered his voice
"Where... are we going?"
"Oh, I know this nice little Italian place a couple blocks away from work, I'll text you the address"
"Okay"
