9. Forever

Levi had just taken a bath and before doing anything else he took his phone and sent a text.

Hey, can you talk?

I'm kind of busy, unless you want to come over

Okay, I'll be there in 15?

Sure, I'll be waiting

Levi got dressed, took his crossbody bag and left. He walked for like he felt was an eternity. He turned into a quiet street full of trees, stopped in front of a house with a green door and knocked. The door opened and Levi walked in.

Hey Erwin

Hey Levi

I was just finishing up with some papers, sit down, please

Thanks... this place hasn't changed one bit

It really hasn't, I guess I just liked what you did with the place

Levi sat down carefully on a couch while Erwin looked at him with tenderness and then there was a long silence.

So, what did you want to talk about?

Remember that promise I made you?

I don't know Levi, you've made a lot of promises

Erwin squatted on the floor in front of Levi and looked up to him right to his eyes

Levi was now starting to cry softly as well and reached out to touch the blonde's face with his hand. Both males leaned in and kissed. Erwin grabbed Levi's lower back and brought the raven to the floor with him so that the smaller male was now straddling him but he soon parted to unbutton Levi's shirt and whispered in his ear

I missed your lips

Then the thought of a certain brunette who had said that to Levi days ago hit him leaving him feeling numb. He froze and backed away from Erwin

Erwin, I can't do this

Everything's fine you'll be fine, more than fine I will make sure of that

I can't do this to him. It destroyed me when you did it and now I'm doing it to him. He cannot find out about this.

Levi, wait

But the raven had already stood up and was now gathering his things

Erwin I care about you but I can't hurt him, I won't and you just have to live with that, you have to let me go, after all you deserve better

Levi!

Erwin's pleading shout was silenced by the slam of the door closing, separating them from one another, forever.
