|Chapter 14|

- 1 Day Later: First Day Back -

"Welcome back (Y/N). I'm glad you're back and able to walk." Hyunseok said in an amused tone, the moment I walked into the practice room. Smiling, I bowed a little and walked over the Sangyeon and the rest of the guy back-up dancers. Greeting them, they had huge smiles on their faces, and I just asked them what I missed. It's my first day back and I was with all the back-up dancers. I don't really talk to the girls because ever since I got the lead to Jisung's solo song, they've acted like they hate me. However, I could be wrong, and they've just always hated me. That's why I'm mainly friends with the guys, although I do talk to some of the girls that are cool.

The whole day was calm and fun. I forgot how silly everyone was and it just made practice with them so much more fun. I really missed dancing and being able to do anything dance related made me happy but sadly I couldn't go all out right now. Being under the orders of Jinyoung-nim, Hyunseok, Minki, Stray Kids and Elle I wasn't allowed to push myself for the first week. Since everyone was scared, they didn't know if I could worsen my ankle more than before. Everyone wanted me back but still wanted me to rest for the week. So, no hidden dance world for me.

At the end of practice, Sangyeon asked me if I wanted to go out drinking with some of the other back-up dancers. Sangyeon was a little younger than me, but he was probably the person I was closest with out of all the dancers. Honestly, he was really cool and he made me realize what it was like to have a younger brother. He's adorable but he was a giant, I mean I've seen tall people, this boy was another level. Most people look at him and think that he's intimidating but the moment he opens his mouth, he just sounds like a little kid. When he dances it's nothing like the personality he is, he truly reminds me of a taller version of Jimin. I got along with him because he approached first and when he did, I could see he was scared, which for some reason I found amusing. I also admire his courage in approaching someone that might scare you, he is a very brave boy.

Currently it was 7pm, Sangyeon, me and a couple of guys were going to eat and drink. As we were walking out the practice room, I saw Jisung leaning against the wall just a couple centimetres away. I told the guys to go ahead, and I would meet them at the front of the building. Walking over to Jisung with a blank face, he was smiling at me. "Hey!" Jisung said in a happy tone. I let a small smile slip at his tone but couldn't help and wonder what he was doing here. "What's up? Did something happen?" Jisung shook his head and pushed himself off the wall to face me. "No, nothing's wrong. I was just wondering if you wanted to order in and have dinner together. We finished our schedules early and I thought we could hang out."

I gave him a sad smile and quickly looked behind me before facing him again, seeing that the boys were waiting for me at the elevator. "Sorry Jisung but I can't. The boys asked me to go out drinking since I'm finally back, but we can chill tomorrow." As I was saying that, I was slowly backing away. "Okay? I promise." Turning around fully, I started walking towards the boys. I turned halfway and gave Jisung a small wave, which he returned with a small smile. Getting into the elevator, I couldn't help but think that Jisung wanted to hang out, just the two of us. It was cute and brave of him, which I liked a little.

Sitting in the little Korean BBQ restaurant, I wasn't expecting this is how it was going to be. Sangyeon said it was going to be us and four other guys who I knew and talked to, not four other girls who didn't like me the most out of all the other girls. You see, Victoria - which is her English name - is one of the girls who were in the top three for Jisung's solo song. I honestly thought she was going to get the lead since she was the best but when everyone found out I got it, she wasn't happy about it.
