Taehyung's trip through the darkness was short-lived and he finds himself standing upright with his entire body tense. A soft breeze tickles his nape and his breathing hitches at the faint sound of thunder in the distance.
He braced himself as he slowly opened his eyes, gasping sharply at the sight of his own face smirking at him wickedly from a few inches away. The red eyes he expected to beam into his were now fading into a lifeless brown and the doppelganger's expression relaxed as it stepped away from him.
A singed scent invades Taehyungs senses and he furrows his brow at the sudden change in scenery.
Though it wasn't a place he was completely unfamiliar with since he'd already been there a few times tonight.
The damned desert. The grayscaled terrain, witherings plant life, and rolling hills of sand and sky stretching out for miles.
The whispering winds were silent though and there was a dead stillness in the air that Taehyung could only assume was because of the devilishly handsome entity staring at him.
"Welcome...." it says, spreading it's arms and glancing up at the gray sky. Lighting flashed and a deafening thunder rumbled just above them and Taehyung flinched at the sudden noise. He blinked frantically as he surveyed his surrounding, taking a few short steps backward.
"No...." he exhales, lifting his hands to grasp at his scalp. He blinks rapidly as he put distance between him and the demon and glances around. The demon finds his shock amusing but only for a moment. It's smile fades as Taehyung moved and a cautious frown tugs at the corners of it's mouth as it glanced over the Taehyungs shoulder.
"Um.....I'd stop if I were.." it mumbles, but Taehyung can't hear it above his own voice.
"No..not this fucking place...not again.." Taehyung continues, shuffling through the sand until the back of his foot slides back and he stumbles. The sound of pebbled ground retreating down the side of an opening in the ground makes Taehyung glance over his shoulder, finding himself teetering at the edge of what appeared a massive sinkhole or crater.
...Filled with glowing and sweltering flames.

His eyes grew wide and the reflection of the fiery pit flickered in the reflection of his dark irises.
"W...what the fuck?" he stuttered and shrieked as he spun around. The heat hits him immediately and he staggered back at the putrid scent of embers and sulfur invading his lungs. Taehyung nearly gags at the smell.
It was like nothing he'd ever seen and to think he was only a step away from falling straight into it.
