A/N: Here's another update! Sorry this chapter is all over the place and doesn't feature Gally as much, but I promise there will be more Gally × Reader content soon. Hope you like it!

It had only been a few days since Gally had kissed me, and I hadn't even told Frypan about the incident. The memory felt secretive and intimate, and I preferred it that way.

Though Gally and I had yet to confront the moment, we seemed to be on civil terms. Every so often, we'd be caught up in a wave of glances and blush stained cheeks.

Newt, Minho, and Chuck had finished eating dinner and left to sit by a small fire leaving me alone at our large table. My fingertips brushed against my lower lip still feeling the lingering sensation of Gally's lips upon mine.

Butterflies swarmed the pit of my stomach as I glanced over at Gally, who was beaming while he laughed with a group of his friends.

I flushed pink when I was soon brought out of my trance by Thomas sitting down next to me. "Hey", he whispered tilting his body to look at me. I looked to Gally one last time before I resumed my attention on Thomas.

Gally stiffened now fixated defensively on Thomas and I. "Hi Thomas", I smiled warmly. From the whispers across the Glade about the Keeper meeting held yesterday, I had known Thomas was up to something.

He had caused a stir among the boys over something he and Minho had found in the Maze. Everyone was wary. Though, it wasn't particularly out of his character to do something out of the box. That was who he was, he had good intentions, and he intended to help everyone he could.

"What's up? Is something wrong?", I worried. "No, Nothing. I- I just wanted to keep you company", he looked as though he wanted to say something else, but was too lost in thought to say it.

"Are you sure? You seem a bit tense", I pressed further. "Well I", he paused trying to collect his thoughts, "Y/N, I see you in my dreams". "I'm sure you do", I teased a small laugh escaping my lips.

He leaned towards me nudging my shoulder letting out an embarrassed chuckle,"No, not in a weird way. These dreams, they're vivid. Like, like memories".

"You remember your life before the maze?", I moved closer to Thomas curious of his recollection. Gally hadn't seemed to like our nearness as he let out a loud cough.

My attention snapped to Gally for a short second before returning to Thomas. "Not much, but I vaguely remember glimpses of you and this other girl in a lab.", he fiddled with his fingers lowering his gaze onto his hands.

"What do you mean? What are you talking about Thomas?", my brows furrowed unsure of what this could mean. Thomas avoided my quizzical nature, "I know it sounds crazy, but I trust you. We need to tell the others, they'll listen to you".

His ominous tone had frightened me pushing me to seek for more answers, "Tell the others what?". "That we need to get out of here. It's not safe. Not after what I found", he stood up. I soon found myself following his motions, "What did you find Thomas?".

"The Creators. The same ones that send up greenies and food every month. They created the Grievers. They're the ones who are putting our lives in danger", he sighed walking towards the homestead.

"I trust that we're going to get out, but there's no guarantee-". Thomas stopped now facing me, "There has to be a for sure. Don't you want to get out of here. Look around, more people might end up like Alby, or worse. Their names may be crossed off that wall".

He was right. There was nothing here for us, and I couldn't fathom what would happen if we stayed stagnant for months or even years. I nodded now understanding his persistence.

"I'm gonna go, but just think about what I've said okay", he smiled then ran off. I sighed walking over to the fire that Newt, Minho, and Chuck had been sitting around.

I stopped in front of them unable to organize my thoughts. Minho jabbed his elbow into Newt's side letting him know I was now in their presence. Newt looked up trying to decipher my current mood, but soon gave up.

"Are you alright? You look...flustered", Minho sat up taller. "I'm fine, just tired", I lied still processing everything Thomas had told me, "I wanted to say goodnight before Chuck and I went to bed".

They each nodded a light smile grazing their lips. "You ready for bed Chuck", I held out my arm waiting for him to join me. Chuck reluctantly made his way over to me, my arm soon wrapped securely around his shoulders in a motherly way.

"Goodnight", Minho and Newt stated simultaneously. Chuck dragged his feet grumpily as we made our way towards his bedroom. Once we walked inside, Chuck plopped himself onto his bed sighing.

"What's wrong?", I gathered my blankets lying them on the floor. "Nothing", his voice held a tinge of sadness. I opened my mouth in search of a reason behind his change in mood, but decided against it. Not wanting to pester him any further.

I let out a breath of air, my body now falling against the soft pillows and blankets beneath me. The thick silence within the room had seemed to bring about my tumultuous thoughts.

My mind had appeared to place my thoughts of Gally on hold, now replacing them with Thomas's words. If the Creators were purposely putting us in harms way, who knew what else they could do. More importantly, what did this revelation mean for us?

A sickening feeling arose within my stomach as a new question surfaced. Was it worth it to stay, or should we risk it all and make a break for it?
