A/N: This is what I imagined as the "tree room"!
I caressed the piano keys, loving the familiar feeling of it and the pedals beneath my feet. Every melody that comes out of it, it's a memory of my past, especially my parents.
I look around the big room, the light coming in from the large glass windows while the curtains flow freely with the wind coming in. The ceiling is high making the place have an echo, a perfect place for singing and playing the piano.
The walls are decorated with vines going in all directions and a baroque style being obvious. I stand from the piano bench, no longer wanting to replay my memories, and walk up to my tree.
The tree stands in the middle of the room, surrounded by grass and small flowers that have grown with time and magic. It is medium size with soft leaves that stay here even when winter comes. It's like time and weather aren't a thing in this room, but I know it is by just looking outside the window.
The sun rising tells me that I've been here for about two hours and that is probably around 6 ish, meaning that I should start heading to my room before Levi comes knocking to start the day.
Not getting sleep is something that I'm used to, and all because of stupid vivid nightmares that won't go away.
I start walking towards the door, my bare feet feeling the damp grass beneath me, grab my big black coat, and drape it over my shoulders. Looking back again, catching the scenery in front of me.
The sunrises here are my favorite. It gives the room a slight orange tone with the chilly wind coming in.
Closing the door behind me, I walk fast through the light hallways that are deeply hidden for no one to see. My stomach begins to rumble, begging for food.
"Calm down girl," I say out loud while patting it.
After some more minutes of walking, I found the corridor to my room, but a voice called out. "Alexandria Demetrius, why weren't you in your room?"
Ugh, Levi. My precious not-even-brother brother.
"Well good morning to you too, Vivi!" I said, with fake enthusiasm while turning around to look at him. The sunrise shine was against his face enhancing his light brown hair and hazel eyes.
"It's too early for your humor Alex, you were in the tree room, weren't you?" he asked while putting his hands on his hips like the old lady he is. "Tree room" pathetic but funny name in my opinion
"And it's too early for your lectures." I retorted, doing the same gestures he did, "Your hair's getting long, it suits you."
"Answer the question, miss," Levi said in a scolding tone.
"Fine you caught me, and what are you going to do about it?" I admitted with a smirk in my face.
"Mhm, I don't know, maybe tie you to your bed until you get eight or more hours of sleep in your body. Seriously Alex, it's been two weeks since the nightmares started again, haven't you considered taking meds or going to the doctor again?"
"Mmm, you are right, it's too early to be even talking, buh-bye!" I replied, putting a singing tone to the end of the sentence. I quickly walk to my room while hearing him calling my name, but choose to ignore.
I enter my room, a familiar vanilla scent reaching my nose meaning that my candle is still burning. Oops. I went to it and turned it off with my hands and dipped my fingers in the wax to get some oils from it. While massaging my hands, I direct myself to my bathroom door.
It has a large shower with a big shower head that looks like rain was falling from it. Inside of it could fit at least four people and two more sitting on the built-in bench.
Next, it's my tub, which is also a jacuzzi. There's a big window above it that gives me the perfect view of the sky and landscape of the Kingdom, and of course, it's not see-through.
I look at my reflection in the big mirror in front of me and immediately see the resemblance of my parents. I got my father's hair, dark and wavy, and my mother's eye color, an amber brown.
For face structure, people say it's my father's but honestly, I don't even know. Both of my parents had beautiful facial and body structures that people envied, and beautiful and strong personalities that people admired.
"Ok! Shower now!" my conscience screamed at me. And that's what I did.
Turning on the cold water, and quickly stepping beneath it, my mouth unconsciously making a small hiss. Hot water wasn't for me, I mean yeah I tolerate it very much but not my preference.
My body could create heat any moment so why would I want to shower with it?
After I do my thing and get dressed in my horse riding outfit, I walk out of my room to find Levi, with a similar outfit, Maya and Owen, my guards, already waiting for me.
Maya and Owen give me a small courtesy, still sticking to it even when I've told them millions of times that they could stop doing it and treat me casually since I've known them for a long time.
"Good morning, Your Majesty.", they say in unison.
"Good morning," I replied with a small smile, the lack of sleep is catching up on me. Maybe I should fix that.
Or maybe not.
"Let's get going," I said, already walking.

The smell of hay hits my nose as we enter the stables. We silently walk down the hallway, while the workers bow down to me as respect. Some say "Good morning, Queen" and others just bow and smile at me.
I treat my people with the same values my parents did; with respect, equality, and kindness. Therefore, I politely reply back to the good mornings and the bows as greetings, though never a smile. It's something that my people are used to, ever since my parents died.
I go to my horse, a Tennessee Walker and a black beauty. I got inside his stall and he instantly recognized me, whipping his black-haired tail. "Hey, Quintus", I whispered while rubbing his neck.
Levi gets to his brown horse and leads it beside me, walking down the hallway to the open grounds. We've always ridden together, ever since we were kids learning how to sit on a horse.
So we made an agreement to ride every Sunday and Monday morning the two of us. The other days we are too busy to even leave the castle.
It's a beautiful day outside, not a single cloud in the sky and birds chirping, singing 'good morning' to the world. The grass looks fresh and clean as well as the smell in the natural air. We get on our horses and slowly start to walk, discussing the things we need to do today.
"So what do you think of the alliance? We have 2 more days to reply." Levi says beside me. I look at him and then back in front of me "I don't know honestly. Maybe we could discuss that this afternoon, after all the boring paperwork we have to do?" I request.
"Sure. Race?" Levi says with a smirk on his face.
"Better hurry, Pierce!" I say, already increasing the speed, with a small smile on my face.
Something that I love about my Kingdom is the diverse landscapes it has. On one side there are mountain ranges with flower patches and on the other, there's a big plain that gives us space to run as fast as we want. All of that plus many other things, not forgetting the castle's flower gardens and the secret caves.
We raced for some more minutes and then returned all sweaty and messy, including the horses. We leave them to the stablemen and head out the way to our rooms to, once again, shower and change.
Hey everyone! It's Monday BTW!
