Today's the big day.

Can you sense my excitement?

No.

The last two days have been full of workload, meetings, plus the process of preparing one of the biggest ballrooms in the palace for a celebration.

Obviously, I didn't actually prepare anything myself but having to revise the decor, food, guests, even the cars that are coming in the Kingdom, is quite a lot. Thanks to the team in charge of that, they lowered that workload.

It's currently 12:00 PM and I'm getting my hair and makeup done. I asked for something simple, but knowing them, they will go full-on glam.

After an hour of chattering and listening to some of my favorite classics, they are done minus the lip since I still need to eat.

My hair is in perfect luscious waves and some of the front pieces frame my face. The makeup, thankfully, turned out how I wanted. Simple but elegant.

It made my eyes stand out, making them look like they are vibrant amber.

Someone knocked on the door and one of the hairstylists went to open it. It was my main lady named Marie, who had been working in the castle for as long as I can remember. She was the one who helped me with everything relating to my clothes, the baths, meals, anything really.

"Here's your meal, Your Majesty." she announced with a smile.

"Thank you, Marie." I responded with a small smile.

Receiving the cart, I saw how the hairstylist and the makeup artist were packing up quite fast, as if I was going to snap at them to pick the pace.

"You can take your time, no worries." I say to them, with a reassuring gesture.

They bow and continue what they were doing but slower.

I grab the food cart and move it towards my balcony. I located myself in one of the chairs in the corner so that the people inside my room couldn't see me anymore.

Today, I woke up feeling weird. Quite nervous you could say, something that is unusual. The thing is that I don't know the reason for this, it's not like this is the first time I am doing an alliance.

But my mind has been fuzzy and my stomach full of nervous butterflies.

Whatever.

I place my food, and immediately, the delicious smell of pasta hits my nose. My freaking favorite.

I ate alone, taking in the magical sound of the birds singing while the wind caressed my skin. I'm glad that I'm having this alone and quiet time to charge my social battery for tonight; some peace for myself to get mentally ready.

After finishing my meal, I get a call from Levi saying that my dress is now being delivered to the door. Opening the door, I saw Marie, once again, and another servant with a big beige dress bag that had Queen embroidered with gold thread.

Marie placed it on my bed, while the other girl, who I remember her name was Ally, took the food cart outside, closing the door behind her.

I turned around and saw the red dress that I chose open in the bed. It was beyond beautiful.

I take off the robe that I had on, and with the help of Marie, I got in the dress. While looking at myself in the large mirror, I saw how it hugged my curves in a wonderful way.

"You look wonderful, My Queen," said Marie from behind.

"Marie, just call me Alexandria, you are like family," I tell her, smiling fondly at her small giggle.
