'Holy Innocents'
As we celebrate today the Feast of the Holy Innocents, we include in our prayers those children who were abandoned, who are staying and living now in orphanages and other children who were left by their parents who are living in difficulty, children who are victims of violence starving to sickness or to death, and those who were forced to live in the streets. May we be reminded of the importance of the children, the future youth, and eventually future citizens of this world. There is so much Herod in this world, may we in our own ways help on overcoming the forces of Herod of this world and eventually help the Children. As Gat Jose Rizal would say, "Ang Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan."
