Chapter 24

'Why are you so quiet?' Conor came over to my chair and squatted down

'I'm mad at myself for not remembering you guys were all leaving tomorrow' I said picking at the fraying ends of my shorts.

'Well sulking around isn't going to help you'

'Ugh I guess you're right'

'Damn right I am'

I stood up and slipped off my shorts - before I had the chance to set them aside jc rushed towards me, tossing me over his shoulder and throwing me in the pool.

'I hate you' I spurted out and I made my way to the wall where he had his feet in the pool

'No, you could never hate me' he shot me a smile

'Dammit, I can't' I laughed

He bent down to give me a kiss but I pulled him into the pool with me instead. 'Not cool, you can't just pretend to kiss me' he put his hands over his heart 'That hurt'

I rolled my eyes and laughed 'You're so dramatic'

He smiled and leaned against the wall kissing me 'There, now I don't hurt anymore'

I giggled and went under the water swimming away from him. I got out of the pool and set out my towel. Jc came and sat with me 'So how long am I going to have to wait until you'll come back?' I whispered putting my head into the crook of his neck.

'I don't know, but I hope not long' he pushed the hair out of my eyes 'because I don't know what I'm going to do without you'

'Ugh you guys stop being sad' Kian squatted down holding a ukulele 'Kaitlyn look what I found in Correy's room' he smiled and handed it to me

'Aww my old uke, Correy why do you have this?' I smiled and began to tune it

'I think you left it over here when you were trying to teach Jarrad and Sam how to play' Correy yelled from the grill

'Oh kaitlyn you have to play it!' Sam exclaimed 'You're so good'

I smiled and sat indian style 'Ok, I haven't played in forever, so bare with me'

We sat around singing Stephen Jerzak and Never Shout Never songs until the food was done, I was a bit rusty but quickly got comfortable

'You should teach me to play that sometime.' Jc said as he took a bite of a burger

'Yeah he has one sitting in his room but has no idea how to play it' Ricardo laughed

'Hey shut up, I tried to teach myself'

'Yeah for like a day then you got mad and gave up'

Jc reached over and punched him in the stomach, returning to his food.

We went back to Kian's a couple of hours later and played board games just so we could spent time together.

Me and Jc sat in the dining room and I tried to teach him the ukulele a little bit

'You're a horrible student!' I laughed and took the ukulele from him

'Well you aren't the best teacher' Jc stuck his tongue out at me

'Yeah but it made a great vlog!' Connor laughed holding his camera, he turned it back to himself 'so as you guys can see Jc will never learn to play the ukulele, big surprise'

'Hey rude' Jc got up grabbing the camera from Connor 'I may not be able to play the ukulele well, but at least I know how to vlog. Hey what's up its Jc and as you can see I'm with the beautiful Kaitlyn' he put the camera right in my face

'Oh my gosh Jc get that out of my face' I hid behind the ukulele

'She can play a mean ukulele and sings like really good' he laughed and turned the camera to Connor 'Unlike Connor over there'

Connor flipped him off and grabbed the camera continuing to roam around the house.

'Hey you guys gonna come watch Pitch Perfect with us?' Ricky yelled from the living room

'Yeah give us a sec!' I shouted back

'Bring some popcorn!' I heard Kian yell

'Ohhh and some Arizonas' Sam pitched in

Me and Jc came into the living room arms full, I handed the popcorn to Kian and Jc just dropped the Arizonas on the floor

'Wow compassion' I said pushing him onto the couch and grabbing us two Arizonas off the floor

'I just wanted to see you bend over' he laughed and grabbed my ass

'Hey!' I slapped his hand and laughed sitting next to him

Ricky grabbed the remote 'I heard this was a good movie' he pressed play 'Well I'll be the judge of that'

I laughed and laid my head onto Jc's shoulder

He smiled at me and set his hand on my leg taking a sip of his drink

'Kaitlyn' I felt Jc shaking me 'what are you an old man'

'What do you mean' I said cuddling more into his chest

'You always fall alseep during movies, you missed the whole thing' he chucked into my ear

'No I saw like half of it before falling asleep' I smiled and closed my eyes again

I felt Jc sigh and give me a kiss on top of my head

I frowned a bit, I was going to miss this.
