(Y/n)'s pov

I was in history class first period of the day.

Maggie and I were sitting in the back this time.

There was still no Katie in the room. It was 8:35am. She was 5 minutes late we still needed to wait 5 more minutes before the class is canceled.

I was worried about her. She is never late. Mostly always early. Is everything oke with her?

"What did you do to her." Maggie asked teasingly.

I turned to face her and rolled my eye.

The 5 minutes past by and still no sign of Katie.

Other students left the room. Maggie and I decided to stay here.

I got my phone and text Katie.

Hey Katie, is everything okay?

3 hours later still no sign of Katie.

"Maggie?" I said worried.

Maggie faced me. "yes (y/n/n). You okay?"

"Yeah. No. I'm worried about Katie. I texted her 3 hours ago and she hasn't answered or seen it. She was last online yesterday 6:43pm. I'm worried." You could hear fear in my voice. "W-w-hat if s-something happened?"

"Are Melissa and Nicole still here? Maybe you could text one of them." Maggie advised. I nodded and I texted Melissa.

Hey Mel. Are you still in town?

After about 4 minutes I got a text back.

Melissa: heee! No I'm not around. is something wrong?
Me: Katie wasn't in class today and I texted her but no answer.
Me: I'm worried.
Melissa: I'm sure she's okay (y/n/n).
Melissa: Nicole and I are both busy with a project. We can't leave.
Me: When do you come back?
Melissa: in 2 days...
Me: oow
Melissa: You can go to her apartment to see if she's okay.
Me: okay thanks Mel.
Melissa: keep me updated if you hear about her.

"Is she okay?" Maggie questioned.

"I don't know. I'm going to her apartment. Can you come with me?" Maggie nodded and we got to Katie's apartment.

We stood by the door of the building. I pressed the button. We heard that it was connecting.

But no answer. I pressed again.

Still no sign of her.

"FUCK!" I called out.

A resident had arrived. He opened the door and asked if we needed to be inside.

"Yes." Maggie answered

He let us in. I remembered she lived on the 10th floor.

We got in the elevator. I pressed the button with a 10 on it.

We arrived in the hallway. I got to the door with number 53 on it rang the doorbell. No reaction. Not even a bark from Oisin. I rang again.

Nothing. No sign of movement in house. I called Melissa.

"Any sign of her?" Melissa spoke through the phone.

"No I'm at her door now. No sign of movement in the house. I also looked through the peephole, shoes were still standing there and her coat too. Her car was still standing on the parking lot."
