Lost without you (Katie McGrath x fem reader)

Chapter 6

It's one week later. (Y/n) hasn't talked to Camila about the texts with Katie. (Y/n) and Katie had seen each other in lessons but they haven't talked to each other or something.

Katie's pov

It's Friday 2pm. The whole school had weekend at 2pm but I still need to work till 3pm.

I was done with work and cleaned up my stuff. 

I walked through the hallway of the building.I was walking to my car that was almost 5 minutes to walk when I saw (y/n) sitting at a table in the sun with her laptop and a history book in front of her. 

I immediately stopped walking and stared at her. I saw her struggling with her work. I walked to her.

"Hey." I said "Are you alright?"

 She didn't bother to look up. I took a seat next to her. "Yes eh no! This shit is really stressing me out!" She said. She sounded stressed.

"Hey calm down (y/n)." She looked up and I saw her eyes get humid.

 "O miss Mcgrath." She said with a worried look on her face. "I'm sorry for my language." 

"It's okay (y/n). Can I help you with something?" 

"This is my first year since ages that I've history again and I feel like I'm way behind with my knowledge." She opened her book and let her finger rest on a word. "Like here I don't know anything about world war 1 and now they're asking about what the similarities are. And I" she stopped talking looked to her book and I waited for her to continue. "I I just don't know anything about world war 1." She looked at me again.

"I can help you if you like?"

 "Thanks I would really appreciate it." I looked up and saw that there were dark clouds coming. "I think it'll rain soon, you should go home and take some rest. Do you have any plans tomorrow?"

"No I haven't but." She stopped talking. 

"But what?" I asked her.

"But it's your off day tomorrow I shouldn't ruin that for you." 

"You won't. It's my job to learn you something." She nodded in understanding and gave a soft smile. "If you can give me your phone number. I'll text you for the time and place." She tore a paper out of her note book, wrote her number on the paper and handed it to me. She packed her stuff.

I felt a drop of rain and nearly seconds later the rain was really heavy.
"Do you want a ride?" I asked her.

 "Yeah thanks."

We speed walked to my car and got in. I started the car, turned on the music and drove away. "Where do you need to go?" She gave me her address.

I kept my eyes on the road when I heard her hum. And a few seconds later she began to sing.

"Sometimes when I get lonely."

I looked in her direction and back to the road.

"Dream of somebody who is not only physical

Help me with my fucked-up mind state"

She is so cute.

"I'm insecure, it's keeping me up late"

We arrived at her place and she thanked me for the drive and ran to her appartement. I smiled and drove home.

(Y/n)'s pov

I stopped the keys in the lock and opened the door. I hung my coat up and walked to the kitchen to get an apple and some water.

When I was in the kitchen I saw Camila sitting on the couch. I walked to her and gave her a hug and sat next to her on the couch.

"Hey sis, why didn't you answer on my calls and texts?" Camila asked.

 "Sorry C, I was busy studying and didn't saw them."

 "Don't be sorry.  You should have just told me you were studying. I was worried."

"You want to watch a movie?"

 "Of course C, it is movie night though." I stood up and called to order pizza's and get a drink for Camila.

"Which movie do you want to watch?" Camila screamed to the kitchen.

"Ehhm Jurassic World or Jurassic world fallen kingdom?" I yelled back. I walked back to the couch and saw that Camila had set Jurassic world up on the tv.

"Why are you smirking?"

"No nothing come sit next to me." Camila said.

She started the movie and we watched.

Not even 5 minutes in, the door rang. "I get it." 

I walked to the door and took the pizza's from the deliverer.

I came back and took my seat on the couch again with the pizza's in my hand. She started the movie again. And we started eating

"Heeee!" I yelled. "That was the reason why you were smirking." Camila looked at me.

 "Thats why I choose this movie and not the fallen kingdom." She smirked again. 

"I totally forgot Katie is in it. What stupid of me."

We came by the scene where Zara was eaten by the dinosaur. A tear came in my eye cause it hurts me to think about Katie being dead. This is such a stupid reason to cry, Katie is still alive.

"C can you pause m, I need to go to the restroom." Camila paused the video and I took my phone with me. I got to the restroom and let my tears fall. 

I got a text.

Hey it's me Katie eh miss McGrath. Tomorrow at 2pm.

I smiled at the text and texted back.

Me: Hey, yes alright.
Katie: I will pick you up tomorrow at 2.
Me: okee thanks. See you tomorrow.
Me: have a good evening.
Katie: thanks, you too x

I was totally going crazy over the x in her last text.

I looked in the mirror to see if it was visible that I've been crying. It wasn't and walked back.
