Chapter 38 : Operation Manhunt

Asch's POV

"Where is she?" "Well , what we heard was that , Lady Bish was keeping an eye on her the whole time."

"We?" Pierce asked with a questioning face. "Yeah , me and Yue. I met her after she finished training. But she left them , saying she got training issues."

She got training issues after dismissed the warriors?.... Well , that sounds funny.

I walked out of the throne room and bumped into a short sized female Daemos. "Hey watch where you're-" I scolded her as I looked at her. I was shocked when I saw her appearance.

Raven colour hair.....
Hot magenta eyes.....
Short....

Ava.

"Av-" She looked into my eyes , freaked out and ran away with her tray smashed on the floor.

"AVA! COME BACK IT'S US!" I yelled as I ran after her on the carpet covered hallway , with my knights followed.
We ran out of the castle , to the forest,  no sign of her. "We clearly lost her. Your majesty."said Rhys while catching his breath.

"Why in the Daemos hell would she ran away?" "Mayhe she was in a terrified mode. Don't ever forget ,she had clearly know the truth of our coming." explained Rhys as he bent upwards.

"There is she!" Noi yelled which alerted us looking around as we found Ava's head craned out of a bush. She looked at us and hid back into the bushes.

Leif chuckled and phased towards the bush. "Ah ha! Gotc-" He suddenly gone silent. "Ava?" I looked around and found her in a another bush which far away from us. "Leif! She's right there!"

Then?

Leif was literally tricked by Ava , since he kept on phasing around while Ava kept playing around with him like a mole.

"Leif , stop! You might waste all your magic!"

"Ugh , how the hell she even got so fast? Did she got phasing powers?" said Leif who's sitting on the foliage,  catching his breath from the game of Spirit and Mice.

"How should we get her? She kept avoiding us , it's getting late by now." I looked up into the sky , seeing the sky turning black and stars were soon appearing.

I looked at Ava who had ran quite a distance. Well , she does have the stamina.

"She haven't tried to get her yet." We all looked at Pierce confusingly. "Oh yeah. She must be able to look for her if she did tried to catch those sneaky ones back at the old days."

"Who are you two talking about?" questioned Noi.

"You'll see."

"Ava kept running away from you boys?" "Yes. And we would hope you could lend us a helping hand to get her back for an clearer explanation." asked Rhys.

She rubbed the sword in her grip , while probably thinking about this mission. "Better say yes."I demanded. "Care her a lot huh? Why don't you look for her. By yourself." She said while leaned her back onto the bed.

"Please Yue , it's getting night , and we're worried about Ava. What if she got attacked by one of y-" Yue bounced up from her bed and smashed her finger on Noi's lips. "Anything to say but not them." , She said after removing her finger ,  grabbing the sword , attached it to her back , whistling Midnight onto he arm , stretching her body , "Operation Manhunt , let's go."

She looked at us  , questioned"Oh , so I'm going alone?" "Yes." She sighed with her hands on her hips. "Welp , I got this. I will take Ava back , but not compulsory." She hummed and walked out of her chamber.
