dignity

When will you get better, when will you learn?
You seem so desperate, yet too lazy to earn
Or are you just anxious, too frightened to turn?
Gotten too comfortable with this suffocating burn?

What needs to happen to make you realize
You keep chasing weaknesses while refusing to see, just hide
Your dumb ugly smile makes me twisted and wild inside
Say mirror, oh mirror, why pretent to be so kind
While shattered glass is eating feral skin
I refuse to believe that i can not win
Maybe it's to early, maybe it's not meant to be
Not in this life or at least not for me to see
The white cotton calmness inducing serenety
Connected to firm ground swearing security
Surrounded by grown-ups, i act and adjust to be
The person they want to see in search of my dignity
