Emily arrived back and knew something was wrong. It was too quiet. She looked at Edward who didn't know what the matter is himself. Emily grabbed his hand as they walked in hand in hand. Kevin was there waiting as Ashton had made his mind up. "What's going on?" Edward asked.

"We have to leave." Ashton said making Emily step forward.

"Why? Because you managed to harm Bella, someone your supposed to love, but you couldn't manage to help your family instead of..."

Ashton slammed Emily against the wall. "You have no idea what the hell I was doing!" He said as Edward growled. "Edward would have done the same. I was protecting Bella..."

"But you threw her instead of keeping her behind you." Emily said as Edward grabbed Ashton.

"You don't harm my mate because you can't handle the truth." Edward said. "Brother or not, Emily is my number one priority and I will be damned to let you or anyone in this house harm her."

"Edward." Emily said as he looked at her. "Let's just go pack."

Edward nodded as they walked away. Ashton sighed as he knew that Emily and Edward made a point. He failed to protect her, but with this move, he hopes that this move keeps her safe.

"Edward, do you think this is the right thing for Bella." She said. "It's not settling with me. If he thinks that this is protecting Bella..."

"It's his choice and he will learn the truth later that he is making a mistake." He said as his arms around her. "Baby, let's just not think about this. This can be our chance to travel the world together. Wherever you want to go, we will go."

Emily smiled at him and kissed him. "I'll go wherever you go." She said. "I don't care where we go. You'll be there with me and that's all I want."

Edward smiled as he kissed her head making her smile as Kevin walked in. "Emily, I'll be going with Carlisle and Esme." He tells her making her smile. "Have fun on your vacation."

"Thanks daddy."

Edward smiled as he watched her and her father say their goodbyes. He walked over to her and kissed her making her smile. Emily knew that this was something her and Edward needed was time alone. They walked away together to start their vacation now. Emily watch as car after car drove away making her look to see Ashton going to Bella's. "Ready?"

"Yeah." She said as she got in the car. "Let's go."
