Emily woke up the next day with a smile. Her first day of school and she was excited to meet new people. She walked down to see her father dressed in his scrubs and kissed his cheek. "Have a wonderful day."

"I will and I also get to meet Dr. Cullen." Her father said.

"Well, I'm for one excited for school." Kevin shook his head at her knowing the sweet and energetic person she can be. "I have to go."

Emily was shock by this small school. She thought that this would be bigger, but Forks is a small town. Emily saw Bella walking in and sighed as she has to get the one thing she despised. Schedules and classes.

The smell of cinnamon caught the attention of a brooding mind reader. He looked to see where the smell was coming from. He looked towards the doors and saw a beautiful blonde walking in and the smell of cinnamon coming from her. "Who is that?"

"She's one of the new students."

"So that's Eddie's mate?" Alice gave him a look causing him to smirk. "Cats out of the bag now, Alice. "

"You done that on purpose." Alice said as Ashton smiled and nodded as he walked away. She looked back to see Edward gone.

Emily thanked Mrs. Cope for the schedule and started searching for her first class. English. She felt a pull and didn't understand it. She turned to see where the pull was coming from and saw a handsome guy or in Emily's case, a gorgeous model walking towards her.

Edward couldn't believe that his mate was this beautiful. "Need some help?"

"Yes." She replies and showed him her schedule. Edward smiled and pointed to the class behind her. "Thank you."

Emily finally made it to lunch. She couldn't stand the staring and most people. One of the reasons why she left. Her mother embarrassed her and somehow it reached this school, but no one has looked at her in disgust. They showed their sympathy. They called her mother disgusting, a whore, slut, a lot of names that Emily has agreed on.

She grabbed her lunch and started thinking about her new life. Her father is a well known surgeon and she already has a crush. Edward walked in to see Emily by herself. He walked over so he can fully introduce himself. "Hello." Emily looked up and smiled to see him again. "I'm Edward Cullen. "

"Emily Hale."

"Why are you sitting by yourself ?"

"Everyone knows about what that woman who calls herself a mom done and all day they have gave me nothing but sympathy. I thought coming here would be better, but the past seems to haunt." Emily tells him.

"Emily, no child should go through the way you did. If that was my mother, I would had disowned her." Edward tells her. "Just focus on why you moved."

Emily was happy that it was the end of the day. Class went by fast especially talking to others. They all complemented Emily. They believe that Emily and Edward would be a gorgeous couple. Emily blushed when she walked with Edward.

Edward heard every thought and smiled till his twin rushed by. "What's his problem?" Emily asked.

"I don't know, but I'm going to ask."

Emily nodded and hugged Edward. "Bye."

"Bye." Edward said as he watched Emily leave. 'She's perfect. Now to see what is Ashton's problem.' He thought as he went after his brother hoping tomorrow will be better for Emily.
