Emily smiled as she was helping her father cook. Edward was curious as he watched his mate. Esme was enjoying the cooking's it brought back memories of her human life. Carlisle was happy that it became a family effort. "Get a whiff of that." Rosalie said making Emily look up. "Here comes the human."

"Why are you being so harsh?" Emily asked.

"She deserves to be human."

Emily looked at Edward, who wrapped his arms around her. "Ignore her." He whispered in her ear.

Hearing her father's pager made her look at him. "I have an emergency to get to." Kevin said as he kissed her head. "Emily, you can stay the night since I'll be at the hospital all night. Something tells me I will."

Emily was taking a shower as Edward was reading. He heard everyone talking about hunting leaving him and Emily alone. He walked towards the stairs to see why, but Alice had left knowing he was going to read her mind. "Is there a reason for this?"

"Alice believes that you two need sometime alone." Emmett said smirking. "If you understand what I am saying."

"Emmett." Rosalie said as they left.

Edward was confused as to why Alice saw something that might happen. Walking back to his room with what Emmett said just to see Emily in just a towel. He growled as she turned just to be pounced on. "What has gotten into you?" Emily asked.

"Mine." Was all he said.

Emily smiled as she kissed him. Ripping his shirt off, Emily managed to get the upper hand.

Ashton walked in when he heard Emily and Edward. "Seriously?" He said as he left back to Bella's house. "Gross." He mumbled.

About five hours later, Emily and Edward laid together laughing. Emily laid her head on his chest. "So when do we get a new bed?"

Edward laughed. "I don't know, but I'm sure we'll just keep breaking them."

Emily laughed as she kissed him again when someone cleared their throat. Edward brought the blanket up more on Emily when he saw Emmett. "Had fun."

"Get out of here." Emily tells him.

"Well I would, but I was going to tell you lovebirds that we have a thunderstorm coming tomorrow."

Emily looked at Edward who liked the idea. "Baseball." He tells her after seeing the look on her face.

Emily smiled and kissed him. "Should have told me sooner." She tells him. Emily looked back at Emmett. "Out."

Emmett left as Emily wrapped the sheet around her to shut the door and lock it. Edward kissed Emily's shoulder making her sigh. Edward smiled. "Let's go hunt."

Emily smiled as she kissed him. "Okay, but I want you to teach me how to fight or is that Jasper's speciality."

"That's Jasper field." He tells her. "I'll let him know after we're dressed."

Emily smiled as she grabbed a new outfit her father brought over. Edward started to get dressed himself. Looking at his mate, he was glad to have her turn instead of gone. He looked at her and knew that he couldn't refuse her being one of them. He was happy and he can live on with his mate.
