Emily and Edward heard the shocking news from Rosalie. Bella Swan knows their secret. Emily was worried as she knew that two people weren't too happy about her knowing. She was just turned and so far was doing okay with being around humans. "It's going to be okay." Edward tells her. "I won't let nothing happen to you or to your father."
"I know, but I'm worried for Bella." She tells him. "Rosalie is not pleased and neither is Jasper. How is this going to work out?"
"Ashton won't let nothing happen to her and neither will Carlisle." Edward tells her. "They will keep her safe as the two of us work together."

The next day was awkward. Ashton had left to tell Bella his story as they were getting to know each other better. Rosalie and Jasper still had sour attitudes, Edward was focusing on helping his mate, Emmett being childish, and Alice the positive one. No one spoke, but that was going to change. "This is ridiculous." Emily said. "I know you two aren't happy, but I want you guys to know that she would have found out one way or another."
"She's right." Edward said. "Bella would have found out another way and I think it's safer for us to tell her or research. She chose research."
Everyone knew that they were right. Bella would have found out by someone and that someone could have gotten them killed, but that still bothered Rosalie. Emily sighed knowing that it will take a while to get Rosalie to understand.
Edward kissed her head making her smile. She knew that it will be okay. She has Edward.
