Day one was the hardest. Edward never went hunting or left Emily's side. He wanted to be there for his mate. Kevin and the other Cullens stood by as they watched Edward hold onto her hand. They can tell that this is killing him that he had to turn her. "She'll be magnificent when she wakes up." Alice said.

"I hate that he turned her." Rosalie tells them. "That girl could have stayed human."

"She would have died." Ashton said. "I refuse to see my brother get himself killed. So I'm glad she's in transition. I would have done the same if it was Bella even though I oppose to it."

Nothing else was said as they all looked back at Edward. They knew that nothing would have changed.

Day two was different. The sound of her heart slowing down. Edward still hasn't left her side and Bella was asking questions about the blonde. Ashton had told her that she was okay and will be waking up soon.

Day three, the faint sound of her heart beating stopped. Edward looked at his mate as she opened her eyes. Everything was different. The light was brighter and she saw everything more clearer. She saw a figure. "Edward?"

"Hey."

Emily smiled as she walked over to him. She hugged him making him groan. Emily pulled away. "I'm sorry."

"There is something you need to know than we have to hunt."

Emily nodded and Edward started explaining. From his story, to her being his mate, and her becoming a vampire. Emily was shocked, but accepted as the mate bond was stronger. "I love you."

"I love you." Edward replies as he kissed her. She pulled away holding her throat making him nod. "Let's go hunt."

"I don't want to hurt humans."

"Emily, we feed off animals." Emily nodded as Edward moved her hair behind her ear. "I will help you get stronger and so will your dad."

"He knows?"

"Yes, but there's a reason behind that, but right now, you need to feed."

"Ok." Was all she said as she held Edward's hand and the two went off hunting. Kevin smiled as he heard his daughter laughing as her and Edward left. He has Emily back and everything was going to be okay. That is till a certain human figures it out.
