IMAGINE

_______

You decided to come along to one of your girlfriend's concerts to support them since Jennie kept persisting. She let you watch from backstage so you wouldn't be swarmed by fans given that your relationship became public a few months ago.

You never liked being the center of attention, being watched carefully to perfect a certain part or liking. But Jennie went out with it after granting YG's acception because she couldn't stand watching you being sweet talked with.

You hated being famous. Always being watched constantly by the paparazzi or by fans, it always made you nervous and anxious. You'd rather be home watching a movie today, but since it was your girlfriend, you couldn't turn down the offer.

You watch your girlfriend from along the side of the stage as she performed with her best friends. They were doing amazing! They hit every point of the choreo on time and every song note. As the performance ended, the four of them all stood on stage to admire the huge audience of their fans, cheering them on and yelling out random phrases.

They all smile their own signature ones while you freaked out along with the crowd. Jennie pulls out her microphone.

"Hello Blinks!" She greets making the fans yell louder in response.

"This will actually be our last concert here in Korea before we leave to tour the states." Jennie pauses as the crowd sent whines.

"That is why I brought a special guest." The crowd went wild, yelling and screaming, bickering on the unknown guest. But you were already shaking and knew exactly who.

"My girlfriend."

The fans cheered while Jennie gestured you to come out. You took a deep breath and walked out to the stage to your girlfriend and friends. All eyes were on you and you tried your best not to shake.

"You okay?" Jennie lays a hand on your back and you gave her a satisfied smile.

You never told her you had stage fright. You thought it was stupid, having a famous girlfriend and you not being able to take that fame.

"So Y/n, how have you been?" She puts the mic in front of you to talk but nothing but stutters came out.

"I've been um.. do-doing good." You clasp your hands together to stop them from shaking any more violently. You could feel everyone's gaze and it only made you more nervous.

Jennie seemed to have recognized your trembles, so she smoothly hugged you from the side and rest her chin on your shoulder. But it made you more anxious as the fans cooed at the sight in front of them.

Your teeth sunk into your bottom lip and sallowed hard to get rid of your stiffness, but it was unsuccessful. "Je-Jen."

"Yes baby?" She whispers in your ear and you tensely glance at her.

"Can we.."

You start but the heavy pairs of eyes kept staring at you, waiting for you to speak more and maybe say heartwarming things about their idol. Your hands began to tremble on their own. The whole stadium started to get impatient and you started to feel cornered. You felt like you could see their eyes and their eyes only. The stadium started to darken. But the lightsticks that glowed, revealed the fans' stern looks, impatiently waiting for you.

Without a second thought you hugged Jennie, burying your face in the crook of her neck to hide while your arms wrapped around her tightly. You just wanted to leave and it's been too long out on the stage with their fans eyeing you judgingly.

"What's wrong?" Jennie tried to pull away to take a look at you but you tightened your grip making her stay put. You wanted to be gone. You don't want the world's eyes on you. You only wanted Jennie's.

"I want to go home." You mumbled nervously. You didn't want to upset her or sadden her, but you couldn't take it.

"But I wanted-"

"Please.." You practically begged.

Feeling your sweat trickling down your neck, the trembling arms, and the urgency in your voice, she nodded.

Jennie assisted you out backstage after dismissing the concert. She was more worried than upset. Jennie never liked the sight of seeing you nervous or anxious. To her, you were always a brave person and a leader to look up to. You were someone who'd stand up for yourself and talk freely. So, she didn't really think it'd be a big deal to bring you out.

Jennie sits you down as you frowned in guilt. You somehow thought she was angry at you. Because of your fear, you turned her down.

She soothingly intwines her hand in yours and plants a small kiss on your knuckles.

"Okay, what happened out there?" Jennie gave a more worried tone than an irritated one.

You felt a sense of relief wash over you, since she cleared she wasn't as mad as you thought. From wrongfulness, you avert your eyes elsewhere. Though Jennie cleared away her anger, you still felt guilty you ended her concert like that.

"I'm sorry."

Jennie cups your face for you to look at her. She gave you a concerned look, pouting her lips and letting her eyes widen with worry.

"Why are you sorry?"

Guilt hit you and your eyes started to get teary. You looked down at your lap.

"Because I'm scared of being on stage."

You mumbled the last part but she heard it clearly.

"I didn't mean to ruin your last concert. I promise I can make it up to you when you come back. I'll try to-"

Jennie puts a finger on your lips to stop your rambling. Her heart sunk for you. She never knew and she believed she was too stupid to see that.

"You didn't do anything wrong. I'm the one that's sorry. And don't correct me on that."

Jennie lifts your gaze to her by her finger and thumb pulling your chin up.

"I'm sorry, okay. Yes, you could've told me but I should've seen it sooner."

You smile.

"That was embarrassing out there."

You whine and let your head land in her shoulder as she laughs and pats your back soothingly.

"I'm sure they'll understand. I find my baby cute when she's embarrassed."

You smack her arm playfully with a chuckle.

"You baby me too much."

"Do you not want me to?"

"No-I mean... baby me."

You cling onto her, sending her laugh to fill the room.

"Love you."

"Love you too."
