IMAGINE
RANDOM

_______

You were on the TV, watching a random show you suddenly found interest in. You couldn't fall to sleep after putting your girlfriend to bed and you decided to watch a drama to tired you out. Snuggled up in your blankets and couch pillows, you abruptly hear a shriek from your shared bedroom making you jolt up from your laying position.

You ran as fast as you could, up the stairs and to your bedroom, seeing Jennie's figure underneath the thick blankets of your bed. You break into a small smile before you slowly and carefully make your way to her.

Just by looking at her from outside the blanket, you could tell she was afraid. But you didn't know what she was so scared of and it made your heart crack.

"Jennie," You called out softy and hear a whimper from under the covers.

You take a seat from the edge of the bed, right beside her trembling body. Gently, you lay a hand on her covered back and lightly rub in comfort.

"What's wrong baby?"

Jennie slowly and cautiously peeks out from her hiding place and gazes at you with frightened eyes. The moon's light shined through the clear window, giving small sparkle to your girlfriend's rich orbs making her look more vulnerable than she already is.

"I heard something." She mutters just in ear-shot for you like she didn't want anyone else to hear.

You glance at every corner of the bedroom, trying to listen well for a sound to play or at least see the cause. You didn't want to see Jennie crying over a small nosie a breeze of wind would make. So, you tried your best to understand.

"You heard what?" You turn you gaze back onto her feared figure.

She slowly crawled behind you, wrapping an arm around you waist and pointed with the other.

"The closet?"

You twist your neck to get a peek of her. Breaking into a small laugh, she smacks your back to silence you.

"I swear I heard something."

Jennie clings onto your back as you release a giggle at her feared self.

"Do you want me to check it out?"

Jennie shakes her head and tightens her grip on you.

"Then how are you going to sleep?"

She thinks for a moment. Wondering if dying alone was better or dying with you was more romantic.

"You?"

You unconsciously smile. Just by thinking about her warmth, warmed you up already.

"Me? What about the monster in your closet?"

Jennie smacks your back once again, letting a wince escape your lips.

"I didn't say there was a monster."

A scurry from the closet made your girlfriend jump to her feet with her arms grasping your shoulders. You were up on your feet too.

You both were silent, waiting for another sign that a person was living in your closet. And a sign was heard, making Jennie push you forward almost making you land face first in the carpet.

"Take her first!"

You stare blankly at her in disbelief and laughter. You shift your gaze onto the closet in front of you and proceed with cation.

"Y/n come back here!" Jennie whispers loudly.

You glance at her confusingly. Jennie always does things first without thinking.

"You pushed me over here." You stated the fact, pointing a finger at her.

Jennie stayed silent and watch as you lay a hand on the knob of the closet door. You put a finger to your lips, signalling her to stay quiet.

Slowly but surely, you open the closet door with the creak pitching loudly. Your hands started to sweat with tension and excitement while Jennie huddled up in the covers, in-case of an attack. It wasn't until the door was wide open, you slouched defeated. You were really hoping there'd be something in there.

"Aw damn it." You whine with a little jump while Jennie bounced in victory.

You glance at her with a smile, seeing her in her little world. She was definitely your girl alright. You crawl into bed with her dancing-self after finding nothing in that closet of yours.

Without a second thought, Jennie tackles you with a hug resulting your giggles to fill her hearing.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She planted a kiss on your cheek between each word and you couldn't stop smiling uncontrollably.

Though you did nothing, Jennie still admired your bravery. Knowing Jennie, she wouldn't leave the bed unless her savior came to the rescue.

Only then, a small basket from the closet fell causing a loud thump to echo in the room. Jennie jolted up and back into her blankets making you laugh lightly before turning your attention to the opened closet door.

Approaching it with cation, you take a peek inside to find nothing but the vent blowing cool air. Making you laugh and turn to Jennie's frightened figure.

"It was just the wind."

You point at the vent with your thumb and crawl into bed with her grasping you tightly. Leaving the TV in the living room playing, you let Jennie lay herself on top of you.

"Do you need to be put to sleep again?"

You teased and earned a pinch to your arm. After a couple years of dating, you knew Jennie as a small little baby who needed to be cradled to bed.

"I'm a grown woman!"

Jennie almost exclaims resulting in your chuckle. You rub her back lightly with a smile while her eyes kept staring into yours.

"So you're a big girl now?"

"I've always been a woman."

You playfully roll your eyes and brush your fingers on her lids to close them. Her arm stretched out to hug your body while she rested on top of you.

"Just sleep."

You cooed as you stroked her hair, admiring every strand. Whispering soft words, you admired your girlfriend lovingly. Rubbing her back lightly, you watched as Jennie's breathing became steady and calming. Her lips parted for air and her breath blowing on your chest. Her cheeks looked chubbier and squishy the more she rested -slept.

Just like that, you put your girlfriend to bed. Without her in your life, you don't know what you'd be doing. She was your source of happiness and your sunshine on a rainy day. She's your girlfriend and you love that label.

Before you knew it, you dozed off to sleep too with Jennie right on top of you. Snuggling close, you both obviously loved each other. Intwining your arms around each other.

Both of you slept peacefully superior that night, because nobody had the arms like each other's to put you two to sleep.
