FLUFF

_______

You walk in the crowded hall. Shoving and maneuvering around sweating bodies, since summer was right around the corner. You enter a new hallway to your class, only to trip over your shoelaces your little sister tied up for you.

Not know how to tie them, you let them be. A grown woman like you should know how to tie shoelaces by now, right?

But you thought it contained too many steps and loops to just tie a knot on a shoe. What was so important to tie a shoe? Your swore under your breath, cursing whoever created them.

You only bought them to fit in. You once remember wearing slippers to school and they made fun of you the whole month. Even if you did want to learn how to tie your shoes, you'd always end up confused on which string goes over which or which string goes under which. Point is, it was hard for you to tie your shoelaces.

Walking into class, your eyes landed on the one and only class president. She was perfect, inside and out. Her looks, her personality, her laugh, everything you've ever dreamed of.

"Y/n? Y/n are you listening? Y/n!"

You snap out of your daydreaming and focus your gaze on your teacher.

"You're late, again. Stand outside and hold out your arms."

You swore under your breath and walk back out to stand next to the door. The teacher holds out her stick and gestures for you to hold out your arms. You do as she says while she goes back into the classroom. She instructs to students to takes notes from the board before coming back out to stack books on your arms.

You showed no signs of struggle, given that you've been through this everyday.

"You must be strong by now." Your teacher says sarcastically making you force an obvious forced smile.

"Thank you. Don't be afraid to take some off hm?" You send her a wink, rolling her eyes in return.

"Tell your sister I said hi." She walks back into class.

"Wait! Where are you going? Am I dismissed?"

"Stay out there until I dismiss you!" She answers back resulting in the students' laughs.

You sigh and glance down at your undone shoelaces. Your little nine-year-old sister is probably enjoying her recess time right now, and does not have the time to tie your laces again. You yawn considering last night was filled with your sister's cries.

Last night, your father came home drunk once more and ruined the place while your sister wailed. You had to shush her to sleep and it took a 'while' to calm her down.

"Y/n, come in." Your teacher calls, making you clench the books to your chest and enter class. Only to trip over your shoelaces once again, spilling the books onto the floor with a groan.

You huff in frustration and glare at your shoes before resuming to pick up the textbooks. You could feel everyone's eyes on you and their sniffled laughs.

"This is freaking embarrassing." You mumble.

You reach over to the last book, but before you could get a hold of it, a hand picks it up. You trail your eyes from the book and up her arm to find the class president looking down at you. Her eyes looked like heaven. She looked so pure and fierce that there was no way she could do any harm to you. Her honey colored hair flowed nicely down to her waist and she looked like a total goddess with her piercing eyes.
