A/n: I only titled this because this was inspired by the song. I broke it down into a part so... here's the meaning of the song (Story version)

ANGST

_______

Hearing Jennie's small angry footsteps ringing through the air, your head throbbed with endless thoughts. Her warmth didn't feel the same anymore than it used to be.

Her words were never sincere anymore than it used to. Her white lies were growing more major. Her smiles became common and not special like they used to. It wasn't the same anymore.

Footsteps echoing from the kitchen to the bathroom sink, your heart pounded rapidly brutal. Thoughts swarmed in your thinking space and as much as you wanted to deny them, you couldn't.

Feeling her mood swift into anger, her footsteps stopped dead in their tracks in front of your shared-bed. Sliding herself in, you slowly but lazily wrap your arms around her. And she did too.

Her warmth, wasn't warm anymore.
Her pecks, weren't heart fluttering.
Her herself, wasn't as real as she used to be.

"Jennie," Mumbling nervously, your heart racked violently against your broken rib cage that broke by Jennie's real warmth.

She hums back, with her fingers blandly caressing your back.

"Are you leaving me?"

Jennie stares blankly down at you as you tried your best not to be so vulnerable and sensitive.

These past few weeks, you've haven't received the same warmth from before.  You could feel it. You could feel her fade away painfully slow.

"No, I would never."

You smile faintly, still detecting a small untruthful lie in her words. Her words didn't mean anything to you anymore. It always had a ring of sarcasm and the thoughts that engulfed you, made it worse.

So please, please..

Don't leave me.

Don't let go.

Don't loose me.

Thoughts -beggings-  like these echoed, repeated, rung in your mind and you wanted to decline the fact but you couldn't. There was already so much evidence and you wanted to deny it all.

Morning came and the space beside you felt too cold. Opening your eyes, you met nothing but the blanket bundled up on you and no Jennie in sight. You rub your eyes, attempting to get rid of your tiredness.

Today felt like every other day; lonely and cold. Waking up without her besides you felt new and awakening cruel to you.

Making your way through the corridor, you finally spot her. You felt like you haven't seen her ages. Her beauty was all you craved for but it didn't feel the same anymore.

Though you both were so close -sharing secrets and confessions- you still felt a gap between the two of you. A black empty void that was slowly eating you out of her life.

You could feel yourself fading out of her life -that you want to be apart of. Your worlds together were perfect to you, but to her, you knew she didn't see perfect.

You could feel yourself slipping through the cracks of her cold embrace. Her warmth wasn't as comforting no more. Each night, her grasp would get colder and colder -blander and blander.

You could feel yourself dying out. Your gentle heart, slowly tearing into pieces, ached at every small dull glance you'd receive.

You were, indeed, no longer the person she loved.

Days passed and your heart was left in one piece of a whole. You became vulnerable, sensitive, delicate. Because the knowledge of her cutting you down pained you mercilessly. Her fake impressions took a toll on you and you started to wonder if the months of love being shared were fake too.

Five words. Five words can end your kingdom -your shared-world. Five words can end someone's love.

"Jennie," You try to snuggle between her arms, searching once again for warmth -a feeling.

Jennie hums back without a single glance, with a lack of acknowledgment.

"If you leave me.."

"There is no 'if'. That'll never-"

"Don't say that." You mutter, ever so calmly and heartbreaking. "You could feel it too."

Jennie keeps silent as expected.

"If you leave me.." Which she will, you thought confidently. "Please do so."

"Y/n,"

"But please," You continue. "Just be gentle."

Jennie nods, finally curling her arms around your fragile body. She felt the same too. She felt herself slipping away after becoming a trainee at a company she deared so much -probably more than you.

"How do you want me to do that?"

You think sorrowfully. "Hold me until I sleep. You can leave by then."

"But-"

"Then, leave now." You sallow hard after. Though lonesome might heavily affect your well-being, you knew this was for the better -for Jennie.

She smoothly tightens her hold on you. Letting her breath fan the crown of your head, her hand strokes your hair in a pattern you could never forget.

There you laid, cuddled up in her cold arms. It no longer had a scent you craved, she was the one that changed and you saw that. You saw that the way she looked at you, no longer had the loving eyes you longed for.

Feeling nothing in her cold embrace, you snuggle closer -trying hard to find a warmth, a spark. Thinking this might be your last chance in her grasp, you savored it as much as possible.

But nothing was brought upon your attempt. Defeated, you slept. You wanted to end Jennie's boredom. Though it cruelly sent an ache to your heart, you knew Jennie was tired. Physically and mentally.

You could feel her boredom and disinterest in your relationship, everytime she was with you. And letting her go was all you could do to help her fill those holes.

Nothing but the cold and bruised filled your heart. Seeing her happy made you happy as well -of course. But seeing her with someone else other than you made you bitter and sulky.

Her special smile can make your day better, whether it was good or bad, she healed you quickly. Her laughs were like music without a line of notes. Her pouts were like a scene of dandelions swiftly moving in the sunny weather. Jennie was perfect.

But right now, you saw she didn't see the same in you.

You snuggle more into the bed. Empty bed. A cold and lonesome place. It officially is no longer the same.

Opening your eyes, you met the neatly folded blankets -you and your ex used to share. Your arms wrapped around your own body, hoping to find the same warmth from the person you deared for.

The apartment is empty and silent. No TV channels playing or music blasting songs. Not a single beat of noise dared to range.

Sulking, your eyes roam tempting to find anything to distract your damaged soul. But without any success, you laid there, letting the emotions take you.

She was your everything. Your world you shared. The kingdom you both built and ruled. Your flower you watered with kisses.

Jennie was your medicine and she no longer wanted to work on you.
