IMAGINE
LIGHT FLUFF
_______You aimlessly lay on your couch, your stomach planted and your arms supporting your head as the video on your phone continues to play. With your whole body spread out on the long sofa, Jennie could only sit on the floor next to you -legs crossed and her chin planted on the edge of the sofa.
Her eyes observed your every move. The way you'd lick your lips on the foods that were displayed in the youtube video, made her smile illuminate beside you.
Oh the way she loves you for being you. To her, you were her everything. Her lifeline. Her sunshine. Her artist. Her lover.
You turn your head to your girlfriend, a smudge smile plastered on your lips, after an idea pops in the little mind of yours.
"Baby." You call, her eyes looking deep into yours.
Seeing you smile without a good reason to made her grow suspicious. She knew you, and most of the time she knew you better than you yourself.
"Hm?" Jennie hums, her rich brown orbs wondering to admire each feature your parents have given you.
"Can you go buy some noodles for us?" You sit up to retrieve your wallet. Pulling out a few bucks, you hand it to Jennie with a smile. "If you don't want to go-"
"No I'll do it." Jennie assures with her eye-creasing smile. "Just for you." She pecks your lips, making sure it'll linger long enough while she's away.
She grabs her coat and stays at the front door to put it on. Her small sock-covered feet wore her bed koala slippers as she turns back to you with a smile -thinking bidding goodbye properly was romantic.
"Bye bye Y/n! Love you."
You, being focused back on your video, only hums back in response.
Jennie huffs, placing her hands on her waist in refusal. "Love you Y/n!" She yells louder.
You hum in the same volume, trying not to break into a smile. Knowing your small response didn't make it in her approval box, you attempt to act dumb.
"I. Love. You." She emphasizes each and every precious word with love and frustration as she paces to you.
"Yup!" You exclaim, sitting up to see an adorable cat pouting her lips in annoyance.
"You're not going to say you love me?" Jennie crosses her arms while her foot taps the floor.
"What do you mean? You know I love you already." You play stupid.
One of your friends texted you to do this one last prank to your girlfriend. And judging from your childish giggles and smiles, you accepted before Jennie could see your phone screen.
"But I want to hear it from you!" She whines at the end, her foot now stomping against the ground.
With her chubby cheeks glowing with the help of her puckered lips and furrowed brows, how could you not find her cute?
Even your endless teasing made her grumpy, you love this side of her the most because of her adorable actions.
"Why?" You raise a brow.
By now, you deserve an oscar. Your smile never surfaced because of you biting the inside of cheek. Amazing acting skills. Bravo!
"Because..." Jennie trails off before pointing a finger up. "What if.. What if I get into a car accident?"
You blink, your lungs trying hard not to break into a fit of laughter. Your lips pursed to hide your smile.
"The store is literally across the street, Jennie." You gesture out the window that revealed the 7-Eleven convenience store with their lights on.
She sighs with an eye roll, her hand running her hair. "Okay..."
You nod for her to continue her small quest but she only stays in place.
"What if someone robs me?" Jennie reasons.
"No one's going to rob you." You give her a look. "Even if they did, we still have the money to support ourselves."
"What if someone kidnaps me?" Jennie raises a brow, her arms still crossed and her face sharing a cute look you don't get to see everyday.
"I'm right here where I can see you." You answer.
"What if I have a heart attack?" Jennie widens her eyes, pressuring you to give up and say the special magical words.
"A what? You don't even have any heart problems." You restrain a laugh as Jennie clenches her chest -where her heart is.
She groans and places a hand to her knee, supporting herself. "I-I think I pulled a heart string."
Your bottom lip tucked itself in between your teeth, preventing yourself from snickering any further.
"Fine!" You exclaim.
She stands appropriately with a smile, stuffing her hands into her coat's pockets. "I'm okay."
"I..." You start, her smiling glowing -thinking your words might be the most extravagant words she'll ever hear. "I'm hungry."
Jennie frowns, her back slouching and her lips going back into a pout. She does her little angry jumps of frustration before cutely stomping over to you.
"Y/n."
You gulp at how firm and solid her tone was. With the small figure standing over you, you could only look up -amusement visible in your eyes.
"Why aren't you saying it?" Her eyes start to catch yours, sadness noticable in her delicate gaze.
You release a small panicked laugh. "What do y-you mean?"
Seeing tears build up in her eyes makes you panic even more. It wasn't suppose to go this far to where tears can shed. It was suppose to be a funny and happy thing, right?
You decide to now stop the harmful prank, standing up to hug your now crying girlfriend. You didn't mean to make her wail. Her head nuzzled itself in the crook of you neck, tears soaking your shirt, as guilt heavily crept in through the front door.
"Jennie.." You whisper into her ear as gentle as you can, afraid she was going to push you away in rage.
"What?" Her voice shakes, her sniffles still being as adorable as always.
"It was... a prank." You mumble the last remaining parts.
"Was what?" She pulls away to take a look at you, your arms still in tangled together.
"It was a prank." You mutter just an ear-shot for her to hear.
You expected a scolding or a laugh from the brunette, but none of those came. Her tiny fists land on your shoulder causing you to wince.
"Why did you do that?" Jennie yells, her clenched fists still not stopping to 'Playfully' hit you.
"You made me cry for nothing!" Jennie scolds, anger clearly flailing in her tone of voice. At least you were right on one part.
"I didn't think it'd be a big deal." You try to reason, catching her wrists to stop her actions. "I'm sorry."
She grumbles incoherent words before hugging you again, letting your scent calm her down. Her ear hears your slow calming thumps as your hand ruffles her hair in apology.
Her hug felt more like your average hug. This was a special hug only Jennie could give you -only your girlfriend could give you. And you were glad she's forgiving as always.
"This doesn't mean I'm not mad at you." Jennie murmurs.
"Of course." You pull away to plant a loving kiss to her lips making them tug into a smile.
You smile back with a sparkle to your eyes and she did the same until you-
"So... Food?"
