"Y/n please wake up." Jean sat at the side of her bed next to her. He was holding one of her hands and with his free hand was pushing the hair out of her face.

Jean sat studying her for a moment before one of her eyes slowly started to open. He helped her sit up and quickly wrapped her into a hug.

"Jean? Is that you? What happened?" I tried to look around but Jean was holding me so tightly I could barely move.

"Y/n, thank god. I was so worried." Jean let go of me and before I could say anything he kissed me.

I quickly pushed him away.

"What are you doing? What is going on? Where am I?" I looked around now that I was free from Jeans' grip and was horrified at the sight.

I was sitting in a hospital bed and in the bed next to me was Sasha. Connie had laid down next to her and was holding her. She was super pale and was connected to a bunch of different machines and IVs.

"Y/n, you guys got into a car accident. They ran a bunch of tests on you guys while you were unconscious and are looking over them now." I looked at Jean. All of the memories were coming back in bits and pieces. I remember calling Levi.

"Is Sasha okay? And wheres Levi? How long was I out? Are the people in the other car okay? I have to go check on Sasha." I tried to stand up, but Jean just gently pushed me back on the bed.

"Baby you can't stand or move or do anything right now. You got into a car accident. Sasha is doing okay. She got hit with the most force, but she's still alive. Levi is talking to Sashas parents right now. He should be back soon. You were out for almost 2 hours. The person in the other car is fine."

I started to sob. This was all my fault. I should have told her to be careful. I should have been watching. I should have turned the music down. It's all my fault. Suddenly I felt the weight shift on the bed. Jean had moved next to me and pulled me into a hug again.

"Shhhhh baby. It's alright. Everyone is alive. That's the most important thing." He kissed the top of my head and we stayed like that a bit longer.

I looked over to Connie and he was still holding Sasha. We made eye contact and I could tell he had been crying. He gave me a small smile, but it didn't reach his eyes.

I had started to drift asleep still in Jeans' arms when a bunch of doctors came barging into the room. They were followed by Mr. and Mrs. Braus.

"What's wrong with her? Is she going to live?" Mrs. Braus started to cry. A doctor was calmly talking to them.

"Sasha has really bad internal bleeding going on. It wasn't severe at first so we didn't notice it. After further examination, she needs emergency surgery. If everything goes well she will make a full recovery."

Connie had let go of Sasha and was now standing by her parents listening. Nurses were rushing Sasha out of the room and into surgery.

"How long will the surgery take?" Connie asked. His eyes were full of concern.

"It depends. Most likely about 2 hours or so. I can't promise an exact time frame. Everyone is welcome to stay and visit in the room now that Ms. Y/n is awake." With that, he lead Sashas parents out of the room to where they could wait for Sasha. Connie tried to follow. "Sorry sir, family only."

You could visibly see Connie's heart break. He was so worried about her. He turned around and headed over to me and Jean.

"Wait. He is family. He's her brother. Come on. Also, her boyfriend is coming and we wish for him to be allowed there also." Mr. Braus stated. He left no room for argument.

"Very well sir. Let's get going then." With that everyone left. Leaving me and Jean alone.

"See y/n. Sasha will be okay. Everyone is okay." I looked up to him and he kissed my forehead.

"Wheres Levi? I want to see Levi. He must be so worried."

"He should be back anytime now. I'm sure someone told him you're awake."

"Will you go get him? Please? I really want to see him." Jean looked torn between wanting to stay by me and following my wishes. Finally, he sighed and smiled at me.

"Of course darling. I will go get him." He gave me one last kiss on the forehead and walked out of the room. I wish I had gotten a chance to speak to Connie, but I'm sure he's more worried about Sasha right now.

I can't believe that happened. First, we lose Marco to a car crash and now we almost lose Sasha.

I wish this had never happened. I look up as I hear the door open and I see Levi poking his head through. When he sees me relief floods his face and he walks over.

"Hey y/n. You woke up." He pulled a chair next to the bed and sat down. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay. More worried about Sasha than anything." He nodded.

"I understand. We all are. I was very worried about you though." He held one of my hands. "You have no idea how happy I am that you are okay. I'm sure you are tired though. I'll let you rest."

"No Levi. Please stay. I'm not going to be able to fall asleep worrying about Sasha and I don't want to be alone."

"Of course. Do you want a drink or food? I can have Hange bring us something. They are on their way here now. Erwin was here, but he got called into work with an emergency. Don't know what could be happening this late at night though."

"No thanks." We talked a little bit more and I had slowly started to drift off again. I guess I was more tired than I thought.

I woke up a little bit later to Levi and Hange talking in the corner of the room and Jean asleep in the chair next to me. He was holding my hand.

"Hey, sleepyhead. How are you feeling?" Hange had noticed I had woken up.

"I'm good. How's Sasha?"

"As far as we have heard the surgery is going just fine and she should be out in the next 30 minutes."

"Thank you for coming Hange. It means a lot." They smiled at me.

"Now, of course, I came. Why wouldn't I visit my favorite girl in the hospital."

Our talking must have woken up Jean because his grip tightened on my hand.

"Babe, your awake."

"Why are you calling me babe Jean?"

"I don't know. It just kind of happened."

"Well please stop. We aren't dating." He dropped my hand.

"Right. Sorry I'll stop. I'm glad you're feeling better, but I'm going to go check up on Sasha."

He left without another word.

"Damn. Kind of harsh don't you think?" Levi asked.

"Not really. My head is still spinning and I really don't want to deal with any of the dating bullshit."

Just then Connie walked into the room. He looked like he was crying.

"It's Sasha. I have news about Sasha."
