Jealous much? (JeanxReader)

Chapter 4

Y/n's POV

Time seemed to stop as I made eye contact with Jean. The pain, confusion, and jealousy evident in his eyes. Why those feelings. We were moving on. Right?

Eren.

Of course that was it. It's just because it was Eren. No other reason. Great. I'll be overthinking the rest of the night.

"Y/n are you okay? We felt bad so we decided it was better if we just went back to Erens place." Mikasa snapped me and Jean out of it.

"Yeah I'm okay. I'm sorry to ruin your guys movie. I would love to just hang out at Erens though." Connie rolled his eyes at me.

"No I won't forgive you." I clutched at my heart and gasped knowing he was joking. "Whatever. I was gonna make our relationship official today. You just had to ruin it."

"But Connie. I love you. I'm your bitch." Everyone rolled their eyes used to me and Connie talking like this.

"I can forgive you." He walked up and wrapped his arm around me. "C'mon guys me and my bitch are leaving." I laughed and hit him in the chest. 

We all walked out making plans to just head to Erens. Eren and Mikasa headed to their car. As Eren walked off he smiled at me and winked. I immediately started blushing. I turned around and headed to the car. Before I got in Jean stopped me.

"Hey y/n?" I looked up at him and he seemed very nervous. "I wanted to ask, nevermind. It was stupid. Let's go before Connie and Sasha yell at us." Before I could say anything he got in the car.

The car ride to Erens was quiet. Sasha and Connie finally agreed on music so we all just listened to that. I decided I was going to talk to Jean at Erens. It would probably turn into a huge party anyway that Levi would yell at me for. Speaking of him I should send a text to let him know what going on.

Levi and I never met our father and our mother died at a young age. He practically raised me. Due to that we were extremely close. I was the only one he was close with besides Hange and Erwin.

Hey the movie got cut short so we are going to Erens to hang out

Levi

I swear if you come home drunk I'll kick your ass. Be home by 11

Okay usually he wouldn't even let me go to Erens so this is progress.

We got to Erens and unloaded. Again Connie and Sasha ran inside with Sasha practically dragging Niccolo with her.

"Hey wait before we go inside what were you gonna say Jean. Don't say nothing either. I know it isn't nothing."

"Okay. Well what was going on with Eren tonight. You guys seemed really close and it was strange."

I sighed. "Honestly Jean I don't know. It's a lot to process. He pretty much told me he's had a crush on me for awhile and he didn't want to beat around the bush." There was no point in lying about it or hiding it. Jean and I were always honest with each other even when it hurt.

"Oh." That's all he had to say. That's all. I decided to lighten the mood because I did not feel like getting into this right now. This night has already been confusing enough. I bumped his shoulder and laughed.

"Don't worry Jean-Bo," He groaned. He absolutely hated when I called him that. "You'll always be my number one guy."

"Uh-huh. Just like your Connies bitch." 

"Please I can be both."

We walked inside and without realizing it slipped our hands into each others. It felt nice. The night had regained it's normalcy.

"There you are y/n!" Eren came running up to us. Him and Jean stared daggers at each other for a split second until Eren turned back to me smiling. "I thought maybe you ditched me."

"Never. I'm not that horrible."

"Don't lie y/n you'd ditch him for me!" Connie yelled from the couch.

"Sorry babe you're right." I laughed and turned back to Eren. "I'm guessing you invited everyone else?"

"Yeah I did they should be here soon. How late is Levi letting you stay? Also Jean, Mikasa is waiting for you in the kitchen." Eren said that to Jean while looking at our hands which were still together. I nodded at Jean telling him to go and he walked off with a small smile.

"Sorry. I have to be home by 11. So, technically 10:45, which means I have to leave at 10:30."

Well we have an hour and a half then. What do you want to do?"

"I was hoping maybe we could talk more? I'm still kinda confused about the whole thing."

"Of course. Whatever you want to know I'll tell you." He led me over to the couch that Connie had deserted to go annoy Jean.

"Well the only questions I have are is there anything between you and Mikasa, are you sure you're okay with hanging out and everything just as friends, and why did you decide to tell me this now? I know its a lot so I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry I know its a lot." He smiled and looked so confident in everything he was about to say. I wasn't used to this. "There's nothing between me and Mikasa. Her and Armin are my best friends. Sure she used to have a crush on me, but shes over that now. I am most definitely okay with us just being friends right now. I'm not going to push you into anything you don't want to do. Especially when you are confused." I was shocked by that. Eren has a reputation of being this pent up dude that sleeps around, yet hes being so sweet and caring. "Don't act so surprised. Not everything you hear about someone is true."

"Sorry! I didn't really believe those things about you, but I have just never seen this side of you." He smirked. Damn him.

"Well looks like you should get to know me better then." I giggled and he grabbed my hand. I don't know why, but I allowed it. Why did he have this affect on me

"Yeah looks like I should."

"For your final question. I decided to tell you know because I'm sick of seeing you like this. You're a cool person. You deserve better than someone who can't admit their true feelings for you. All he does is lead you on. Yeah I know you guys have dated before, but if he really wanted to be with you he would sit down and tell you how much he likes you. He would do anything to get it to work. Y/n. I'm willing to do anything for you." His eyes stared into mine. He was serious. 

He was completely serious and I agreed. I did deserve better. If Jean was serious about me he would tell me and work to be with me.

"Y/n? Can I talk to you it's really important."

I looked up and nodded.

Why did Mikasa have to talk to me?
