Chapter 25

"Guys we are in a hospital. Let alone we are in Sasha's hospital room who just almost died. If you are going to fight then leave." Mikasa walked in between them before it could go any farther. "Not to mention y/n was in the same accident. She doesn't need to be dealing with your guys bullshit right now. Eren you were rude and interrupted their conversation. Either come and talk to Sasha and wait or wait outside."

Mikasa didn't say anything else and just turned back to Sasha. Jean still hadn't let go of my hand. I didn't know what to say. Everyone knew that now that Mikasa had intervened it was over. Eren gave me one last look and turned away to go talk to Sasha with Mikasa.

"I'm sorry y/n. I shouldn't have let him push my buttons like that. Mikasa is right."

"It's okay Jean, but I think I'm going to say goodbye and head home."

"Do you want me to drive you home?"

"Levi doesn't want anyone driving me except him for a while."

"Okay, I understand."

I said my goodbyes and gave everyone a hug. I had texted Levi and he said he was 5 minutes away with Erwin. I walked out of the room and got a few feet down the hall only for someone to grab my hand.

"I want to apologize for my behavior y/n. I'm sorry."

"It's fine Eren. You should be apologizing to Sasha. Not me."

"I already did."

"Good." I started to walk away again, but he pulled me back.

"What that's it? You have nothing else to say?"

"No. Not after that stunt. Plus I just want to go home and sleep. I have school tomorrow and I am exhausted."

"I'll drive you home. That way we can talk more."

"Levi is taking me home. Will you please let go of me? I just want to leave."

"Please y/n. Just talk to me?"

"Eren let go of me." I pulled back on my hand. He was refusing to let go. "It's starting to hurt."

He let go finally and I looked up to see someone holding his hand behind his back.

"I believe she told you to let her go." Connie was standing right behind Jean who was holding Eren down.

He walked over to me. "You okay y/n?"

"Yeah, thanks, Connie."

"Let go of me, Jean. You have no business here."

"It became my business the second you refused to let go of her." He pulled Erens arm back tighter. "Now I am going to let you go and you are going to go back to Mikasa or I will get her and Levi involved."

"Oh please, Jean you are scared of both of them too."

"That may be, but I wasn't the one that hurt y/n. Understand?"

"Just let me go."

Jean released him and Eren walked back into Sashas room without another word. Jean walked over to me and grabbed my hand. He started inspecting where Eren had grabbed it.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

"I'm okay. Thanks, guys." Connie hugged me and Jean kissed my wrist.

"There that way if you are lying and it was hurt it's all better now."

"Ew get a room." Connie laughed. "I'm glad you're okay y/n. I'm going back to Sasha. Love you."

"Love you too. Be safe."

He nodded and walked off.

"Come on. I'll walk you down to Levi."

"Thank you again, Jean."

"Of course darling."

"So what's up with darling? Why are you calling me that?"

"I was trying it out. What am I not allowed to call you that either? I think saving you from Eren earns me one pet name to call you."

"No, it's not that. I like it a lot actually. I was just wondering."

I felt his arm wrap around my shoulder and if I wasn't walking I would have fallen asleep right then. Everything felt right. Me and Jean were okay. Eren was hopefully out of the photo. Sasha is okay. Maybe soon Jean and I could make it official.

We finally made it down to Levi and Erwin.

"Hey kid what took so long?"

"I just got caught up in some stuff don't worry." He nodded and got in the car. Erwin walked over and gave me a hug.

"I am so glad you and Sasha are okay. I would have come sooner, but I got caught up in some school stuff. You'll see tomorrow."

"It's okay Erwin and thanks. I can't wait to see whatever it is tomorrow. He smiled and went to get in the driver's seat.

"Jean, you need a ride?" Levi asked.

"If you guys don't mind that would be great."

"You can stay at our house tonight. I'm assuming your mom is still out of town since she hasn't been here bombarding y/n and Sasha with food?"

"Yes, she is."

"Alright get in the car."

Jean opened the door for me and climbed in next to me. He put his arm around me and soon enough I was asleep. Oblivious to the conversation happening around me.

"So, what did she get caught up in? Every time she says don't worry. That means I should be worrying."

"Eren grabbed her and wouldn't let her go. He was forcing her to talk to him." Jean started rubbing the wrist Eren grabbed. "I had to pull him off and threaten him with you and Mikasa."

"I knew he was trouble. We need to get that proof more than ever Jean."

"I know." Jean looked over at y/n and kissed the top of her head. "It was like he didn't even hear her asking. Made me so mad."

"He's lucky I wasn't there. The next time I see him I'll probably kill him."

"No, you won't Levi. He's a student of mine and that's illegal."

"Yeah, whatever pretty boy. Focus on driving. Y/n is here."

"Pretty boy is new."

Jean felt pretty awkward so he decided to put in earbuds so he wouldn't have to hear the rest of the convo. Soon enough we got back to the house. Jean got ready to pick me up, but Levi stopped him.

"One sec. Do not wake her up when you carry her inside. Also, I am going to allow you to sleep in her room. I semi trust you. A tiny bit. Not really, but she's too tired to do anything. If I hear anything suspicious I won't hesitate to walk in. Take care of her."

With that Levi walked off with Erwin following.

Jean carefully picked me up and carried me to bed without waking me. He grabbed a sweatshirt of his that he left here and gently put it on me. He laid me in bed and then laid down on the floor next to it. He didn't want to push any boundries.

"Jean?"

"You're awake. Yes, darling?" I smiled at the pet name. I liked it a lot.

"Get in bed."

With that, he crawled up next to me and we fell asleep cuddling.

The next morning Connie woke us up by the flash of his camera.

"Shit I thought I turned that off. Sorry?" He smiled and both me and Jean just groaned.
