Jeans POV

So this is where it all ends. In the tree house. I didn't understand it. Why is she pushing me away and ending our friendship. We always said when we were younger we would be together forever. I pulled away from the hug and walked away.

When I got down from the ladder I heard her sobs. I wanted to run up and hold her again. To make her feel better. She asked me to leave though. I walked back inside her house to leave and Levi stopped me.

"Where's y/n?"

"She's still outside. You might want to go check on her."

"Why aren't you checking on her?" I could tell he was curious and worried. I might as well tell him.

"We got in a fight. I guess. She asked me to leave and said we aren't friends anymore." I could feel the tears threatening to leave my eyes again. I refused to cry in front of Levi. Although I'm sure he could tell I was about to. "I have to go home. Connie is waiting for me."

With that I walked out with y/n never leaving my mind.

I got back home and walked up to my room. Luckily my mom is out of town so I didn't have to explain anything to her. She absolutely loves y/n and would hate to hear about it. Hopefully I can fix this before she gets back.

"Connie? Where are you? Why aren't you in bed?" I know me and y/n put him to bed. He's probably puking.

"Jean are you home finally? Where did you and y/n go?" I know he's still drunk, but I swear Connie has super powers. He remembers everything and never gets hangovers.

"It's not important Connie. Go to bed. I'm doing the same." I ignored everything else he tried to say.

I got changed and ready for bed. I knew I wasn't going to sleep tonight. There was no way I could. I started thinking about me and y/n. Specifically the day we met.

~Flashback to 6th grade~

"Jean come on! Sasha and Connie already have our seats saved." My best friend Marco said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me toward our lunch table.

"Okay I'm coming. Don't yank my hand off." We both laughed and ran towards Sasha and Connie.

Me and Marco have been best friends since birth practically. He was always there for me and always made me laugh. He was my everything.

"Finally you guys are here! Sasha almost ate everything." Connie looked at us and laughed. "Sit down hurry! I can only hold her off for so long!"

We all laughed and started eating. Soon we were all laughing and yelling. Also getting yelled at for being to loud.

"Hey Jean you should go say hi to the girl over  there. She looks lonely."

"Why don't you do it Marco? You're the nice one."

"I am only the nice one because you never try to talk to anybody else other than me, Sasha, and Connie." He had me there.

"Fine but only because you asked." He smiled at me and shooed me away.

I walked over to her table and she looked up at me. Then she looked away.
