*BEEP BEEP BEEP*. I groan as I struggle to find the snooze button on my alarm clock. In the end I give up as I flop on my back, sighing. I wasn't a morning person. Never have
been, never will be. Especially in Winter. It doesn't help that my bed is super comfy and cosy. I stare at the ceiling for about 2 minutes knowing I need to get up, but trying to push that thought to the back of my head. Finally I decide that I have to get up. I slip into my fluffy pink slippers and walk to my bathroom. I have a shower which usually helps me wake up in the morning. After my shower, I walk back into my room and search for an outfit. By the time I find my outfit my wardrobe and bedroom is covered in clothes. I decided to go with a light pink knitted sweater with white skinny jeans and a pair of black vans. I walked back into my bathroom to apply my morning makeup routine which consists of foundation, eyeliner and mascara. I pull my long brown straight hair back into a pony tail and take one last look my appearance in the mirror. My hair was pulled back out of my face but still had some little strands hanging down by my ears and the eyeliner and mascara made my blue eyes sparkle. Satisfied with the way I looked, I turn on my heel and fetch my phone and bag before heading downstairs. The smell of coffee and toast fill the air as and drag myself into the kitchen. I sit myself down at the island bench. "good morning sweetheart" a low voice said. I spun around to see my father walking into the kitchen. I smiled at my father "good morning dad". I love my father. He is always in such a good mood and is such a family man. He is always here for me. My father always tells me that I'm his favourite child. It's so adorable. My father, Troy Bennett, is a very successful man. He is a millionaire, possibly a billionaire, which makes our family very wealthy. I'm proud of my father, but he travels across the world and is barely ever home. So when he is, I try and spend as much time as I can with him. "dad, can you drive me to school today" I ask as my father makes himself a coffee and a hot chocolate
for me. "of course princess, you just tell me when you're ready". "okay well I'm pretty sure I'm ready now" I tell him, giving him a massive grin. "no you're not" he argued. I gave him a confused look. Before I could answer, he gently pushed the hot chocolate towards me. I laughed and he took a sip of his coffee. "I'm leaving in 5" he said and with that he left the room leaving me grinning.
