By the time I finally get to the top of my driveway, I am out of breath and I am convinced that I have checked my phone at least 20 times in the 3 minutes it took to walk to the other end of my driveway. I lean down into my post box and sighed. No mail. I walked all that way for nothing. I groaned and went to walk back to my house, when a friendly voice stopped me. "Hey Lexi" I turn my head to see my neighbour and good friend Chloe, leaning against her letterbox. I grinned. "Hey Chloe, how are you" I asked walking towards her. "Cold" she pretended to shiver, making as laugh in sync. "Hey, are you going to Niall's party" she asked. Why do people keep asking that. Of course I am. Helloooooo, I am one of the most popularise person in the school. "Of course, are you" I replied. "Yeah, I was wondering if you wanted a ride there" she offered me. I smiled at the generous offer. "Yes please" I smile at her and she grins. "Cool I'm leaving here at around 6:30pm, be ready". I nodded and we said our goodbyes, before I started my journey back to my house.
It's is currently 6:23pm and I'm sitting on my bed, waiting patiently for Chloe's horn to signal she was here. I have been ready for ages. I was excited for tonight, especially after last night. But I was also super nervous. Harry hasn't texted me all day. And don't get me wrong, I know we aren't in any kind of relationship but like, he said he was going to text me. Anyways, I try and push my negative thoughts to the back of my head as I try and work out my game plan for tonight for Harry. For about 2 minutes I sat there, thinking about my game plan. Oh who am I kidding, I couldn't think of anything. I usually just wing it in these kind of situations. Growing impatient, I decided to take one last look at my appearance in my full length mirror that was positioned next to my desk. I gently twirled and turned around, admiring my outfit from different angles (Lexi's party outfit linked in photo box). For what seemed like the 547 time today, I checked my phone to see if I had any new messages from Harry. Still nothing. I sighed, what happens if he isn't even coming tonight. A familiar honking sound broke me out of my trance. I walked out of my house, locking the door and walked towards Chloe's car. "Hey Chloe" I sang, sliding into the passenger seat. "Heyyyy" she replied, extending the 'hey'. Once I clicked my seatbelt into place, we sped off. "So any boys you are aiming to hook up with tonight" she giggling at me. I let out a nervous laugh, wanting to say Harry. But I can't. If people found out about last night, I would leave the country. Not even joking. Harry and I have a reputation of hating each other. And whatever last night was, has to not affect our relationship of loathing one another. The closer we got to the party, the more nervous I got. "You alright" Chloe asked, turning into a familiar looking street. "Yeah, just excited" I lied. Finally we pulled up outside Niall's house and I instantly got a bad feeling about tonight.
