chapter 28

"Beep Beep Beep"
by now I'm sure you all know what that means. You know, usually I would groan and grunt, hit and slap my alarm because I didn't want to hear that horrendous noise but today was different. As soon as I heard that noise, I shot straight up in my bed. I was smiling like a mad person. I turned to my alarm and left it to ring out through my room. Today was the last day. The last day I would be awoken by that friken alarm. The last day I would have to be awoken early and the last day I would be awoken as a high school student. I practically ran into my bathroom. I did my daily makeup and let my long straight hair hang loose. I slipped into my favourite pair of black jeans, put on my grey t shirt and laced up my white converse FOR THE LAST TIME. In under 30 minutes I was good to go.
" Here she is" my mother sang as I pranced down the stairs. I laughed as she ran over to me in her 6 itch heels and hugged me. I laughed harder as I felt her tears sink into my shoulder. She pulled away and wiped her eyes, trying to avoid smudging her makeup. "Honey, I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you" she explain. "Thanks mum". "And I know that your father use to give you amazing presents that would blow your mind, but I think I have one that's a tad bit better than any iPhone or money". She literally couldn't stand still. "Oh no, what have you done" I joked and she just grabbed my arm. Suddenly, I heard a car pull up in front of our house. My mum just kept her eyes locked on me. "Who is that" I asked, kinda confused, kinda scared. She nearly ripped my arm out of it's socket as she dragged me through the house and out the front. Once we were outside all that was in view was a black Range Rover. And from the Range Rover emerged Gemma and Ryder. "Oh my god" I screamed as I ran full speed at Ryder and leaped into his arms. He laughed as he tightly hugged me back. Then I hugged Gemma. "What are you doing here, we aren't meant to be here until next week" I explained excitedly. "Well, we thought we would surprise you earlier and give you your graduation present" Ryder said, shaking my shoulder. "Well this is an amazing surprise. Best present ever". Ryder, mum and Gemma all laughed. "Darling, Ryder and Gemma aren't the surprise, they were driving your surprise". I froze. I didn't know what to do. I was lost for words. "Yo-you mean th-the car- the Range Ro-Rover is mine??!!?" I managed to spit out. They all laughed again. "Well you need something to drive to Collage too". I screamed. " OMG OMG NO WAY OMG I CANT BELIVE THIS OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU AHHHH". I couldn't contain it. I was so happy. My very first car. AND A RANGE ROVER. I hugged everyone. "Well honey I'm glad to see you loved your graduation gift but I think it's time you left for school. Don't wanna be late on your last day of school now, do we??". "Of course not" I laughed giving my mother another quick squeeze before hoping into my very own car. I shimmied into the seat and place my hands on the wheel. I let out a long breath. This was gonna be a very good last day!!!!
