Ava turns away from the commotion in front of her to face Aunt May, her voice stiffening.
Ava:I'm going to my room, Mrs.Parker...if that's okay with you-
Sam:Peter!
Ava looks back forward to the staircase to see Sam put his arm around Peter's shoulders, his head tilting away from Sam's while he was excitedly calling his name.
Peter:Back off...
Peter shoves Sam away and quickly forms a small smile towards Danny.
Peter:Sorry I took long
*he spoke and gave a small glance at Ava who kept her cold expression glued towards them, then he looks away feeling indifferent with a smile towards Danny*
Ava looks over to Aunt May, she had her falcon eyes on Peter and Danny but quickly formed a smile when she looks back at Ava.
Aunt May:How about you sit down on the couch first? I'll try to make some cookies for you to eat
*Ava gave a quick nod and was slowly led to the couch and carefully sat down. Aunt May called to the boys to keep Ava company which made them instantly quiet while she walks into the kitchen*
Danny:I'll sit down with her to talk about her condition, maybe I can help her wound heal faster
Peter:Will you be able to do that? You knocked out for an entire day last time you healed me
Danny:It'll be fine, don't overthink Peter
*Luke and Sam turned purple from watching the couple smile at each other, Sam even coughed and tucked Peter's sleeve*
Sam: I and Petey have to talk about something, maybe give us privacy?
Luke:Did something happen?
Peter:It's about a task I'm involved in, Sam wanted to check the progress of how I'm handling it
Danny:Is your task about Johnny?
*Peter and Sam nod in response despite their awkward tension of giving sneaked glances to each other, Luke looks over to Danny to see his face starting to turn green. Luke broke the silence and places his hand on Danny's shoulder*
Luke:Okay! So we'll be with Ava then and keep quiet from your aunt overhearing...come, Danny
Danny:Ah but-
*he was dragged to the couch by Luke tightly holding his shoulder and not letting him go while Peter and Sam watch awkwardly. Ava looks up to the two boys suddenly approaching her and sitting down beside her*
Sam taps Peter's shoulder to grab his attention from looking at Danny and tilted his head to the staircase. Both went up the staircase to go to the top floor, Peter sat on the last stairstep that led to the second floor in front of Sam who was now standing in front of him with his hands stuffed inside the pockets of his sweater. Peter rests his arms on both his spread-out legs and stared up at Sam's eerie expression.
Peter:What is it? Is it about Johnny?
Sam:Did you told Danny of what happened?
*he quickly said, his face unchanged*
