That was so close. If Imani hadn't knocked, then he would've had been in trouble. Now he had to keep Imani quiet so she won't tell anyone. And buying her that giant bear is how.
"That one!" She ran over to get bear. It wasn't big. But for her it was. So he bought it. Then he thought, Miley and Danny, will try to take it. Hades got one for Miley. And for Danny some video games. So now everyone will be happy.
When they got home, Hades gave the gifts to the kids. Miley took it nicely. Danny was grumpy. Well, he's the only boy. Well not really, but his cousins were across the ocean. Maybe someday Hades will take him there. He hasn't been out of this country since he was born.
"Ah, crap carefully!" He heard Jerry yell. He walked over to them. Jerry had a nasty gash on his forehead.
"What happened?" Hades asked.
"Attack of the kindergarten kids," Tasha laughed.
"Ow," Jerry groaned.
"How exactly did he get hurt?" Hades chuckled.
"Trying to get away, he slipped and onto a rock," Tasha said.
"Wow," Hades said. "Beaten by little five years old and a rock. Awesome."
"Shut up," Jerry said.
"Oh, Jerry, you have a booboo," Imani ran over.
"Yes I do," Jerry pouted. "And it hurts." Imani climbed the couch and kissed his forehead. "Thank you; it feels much better." She giggled and ran off.
"So I heard you got beat up by kids," Sebastian said as he came. Apparently, he and Jerry didn't get along well when they met. Which was a long time ago? Now they got along a little bit. "What an embarrassment you are."
"I am not going to argue," Jerry said.
"Cause you'll lose," Sebastian chuckled. "Ow," Salome had smacked.
"Stop it," she said. "Or you'll get the couch."
"Ooh," Hades laughed. "Dang he has you on a leach, you go sister." Sebastian just growled. Salmon giggled and kissed his cheek.
"Dad!" Miley rushed in. She looked frightened.
"What's wrong?" Sebastian asked.
"Danny his hurt!" Sebastian immediately rushed out. They follow behind.
Once reaching the spot, by the river Danny was on the floor, laying there. There were other kids around. And across the river were other kids. Vampires kids. It's true the Valdez's are the only ones allowed to live around here. But it doesn't mean there aren't more people living around. More families, they're acquiescence to the Valdez's. But it seems that's settle, with permission from Sebastian. Well, they first have to ask his uncle Clay then through his father. But yeah.
"What happened?" Sebastian asked helping Danny up. He had blood on his shirt. Danny didn't seem to want to speak at all. He kept looking across the river. Hades follows his line of vision. He was staring at a girl, with curly brown hair and her eyes were a dark green. She also was looking at Danny. Hades has a feeling this was all for a girl. "Danny?"
"Nothing happened," he said.
"Nothing? Then what's this?" Sebastian pointed to his wound. Danny just shrugged.
"Yeah right, he was talking to that girl over there!" Miley said. "Than he," Miley pushed a boy toward her father. "Started talking bad about her. And Danny got angry, and they fought." Danny glared. "What, your a chicken, can't even tell the truth."
"Is this true?" Sebastian asked the boy. The boy just shrugged.
"They're vampires, we don't mix," the boy said.
