Promises

Chapter 3

It was finally here, the first day of college, I was super nervous and excited at the same time.

But a sigh of relief as we three had a few classes together.

I woke up to see Suzen already in her red floral dress it ended just below her knees exposing her perfectly toned legs, she looked adorable, her hair was straight and was tied in a high pony but I would have preferred if it was left open, she had no makeup on, she was a natural piece of art.

She looked like a perfect doll but she was scared, more than the both of us which was evident on her face, she was the introverted kinda girl, who loved to just be by herself and fully immersed in her books, she loved reading novels, mostly the ones with precise details and purity just like her.

I kept staring at the girl and lost track of time when I checked my phone it was 7:15 and I was already late, we were supposed to leave for class at 8, I quickly rushed out of bed and got ready in a hurry to only find out that our princess Tay was still on the bed.

I quickly reached her bed to pull that blanket from her, she could sleep all-day

" I want to sleep"

"Just 5 mins " she groaned from bed

This is when I realized how to wake this girl up, I started playing ME by Taylor, she was a big-time Swiftie, there was no effect on her like Taylor had, She finally got out of bed and started grooving to the music before I had to push her into to the washroom

I soon put on a white dress that was loose and breezy but perfectly accentuated my waist and paired it with a pair of brown boots, I wasn't as tall as Suz but I liked the way the dress showed my calf, I felt confident in this dress perfectly designed for my first day at college. I quickly put on a pair of hoops, quickly pulled my curly hair into a high pony where the waves of my hair looked just perfect.

I wanted to do some light makeup before I left, just some eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick, I loved how that nude shade was just perfect on my skin.

It was minutes before I shouted

" Tay Tay you better drag ur ass off from the washroom before I break the door "

She came out dressed in a sheek black shirt and skin-fit blue ripped jeans, looking like a proper badass that she was, Tayler was the happiest girl I had ever seen, full of life and energy always ready to hit the dance floor but there was something about her that I felt was hidden deep inside her ever-smiling face.

We soon grabbed our bags and left the room, our classrooms were in the A block so it was just a 2min walk from our rooms.

We decided to grab some caffeine before class so we head to the coffee shop, I ordered the regular expresso with a hint of cream and ice which often reminds me of the coffee shop at the end of the street back in Chicago where I used to hang out with Jane

Suz and Tay both got themselves a caffe latte and we walked towards the class first was a Math class which all three of us had together.

The class was quickly filling up and we got ourselves a seat in one of the middle rows and got ready to start our journey here in NYU.
