Chapter 13

" Alright, who is up for drinks? " James shouted to the whole team

" Yayy" Everyone responded in excitement, this was supposed to be our first bonding/hangout session with the whole team, we all had met for the first time today, and its important we all spend time together to know each other cause we were gonna meet at least 2 days a week now and when the fest is near we were going to spend the whole day together almost.

"Alicia, you can come with us in James' car, we can surely make room for one " Steph called me out when I was just ready to bail out with a reason of not having a mode of transport. Steph and Oliver were the only friends I had made as of now, both of them were sweet to me, Steph and Oliver had been together since freshmen, they both were the cutest couple ever.

So I decided to go with them in their car, we quickly stopped by a not so fancy-ish place called The Gwens Bar. I smiled at Sophie as I got from the back seat, She was not very fond of me I was reminded yet again as she just smirked at my face. Out of all days today I had decided to wear something formal, a satin blush pink shirt pulled in and a pair of black trousers and I was very sure this was not something you wear to a bar.

Regardless I decided to walk in, I was seated at the table with Steph and Oliver beside me and in front of me were Noah, Sophie and James

Sophie and Noah were chuckling at something, Sophie couldnt keep her hands of Noah, she kept kissing him and uttering something in his ear she was almost seated on his lap ,they both looked so happy and cute together i thought on the otherside Steph and Oliver were busy cuddling and looking at something on Stephs phone.

" Just two utterly cheesy couples and us, Huh? Alicia "James said mocking them and I laughed in response.

" So Alicia, no boyfriend? " Oliver asked, I nodded in reply with a smile, Noah kept staring at me

" So Ms. Sensation is single, is it ? No surprise " Sophie whispered under her breath but enough for all of us to hear it, I kinda expected it from here she always made sure she shows how much she hates me, something about it still hurt me, No one defended me, nor did anyone talk, it was an awkward silence, this is when I miss my friend's none like your own, But there was someone who caught me offgaurd.

" WTF Sophie, can't you keep your shit together for once, we all knew what happened " James yelled at her in annoyance.

" It is whores like these who can do anything to get into your pants, I am sure she only asked someone to record that video to show off her perfect ass, get attention, and get laid "

" She just wanted to sleep with my Noah as soon as she laid eyes on him, and look at you James taking her side now how long did she take to get into ur pants "

" Who's next? Oliver?" she has been shouting at me this whole time

My brain stopped working the moment she called me a whore, it's not the first time someone called me that, his mom called me that after what he did to himself, the whole thing started coming back to life, all these words, my face started to heat up, I was trying to hold my tears, I didn't want them to think I cried for their sympathy again, the best thing to do now was to walk away from here, I dint want to stay there for even another second. 

I needed to get out of there, I dint want to face any of them ever again, they remind me of everything that happened in Chicago, I am not needy, I am not a whore, I did not kill him, I didn't do anything for attention, I did not kill him, I did not I kept telling myself while I was gathering my phone and shoving it into my bag.

" I think I should leave " I whispered looking at Steph who was seated next to me, she had a helpless smile

" I am sorry," she said, I pressed her hand assuring it was not her fault 

" At least we don't have to adjust on our way back to fit her ass inside the car," she said as I was leaving making me feel as worst as possible.
