I grabbed the bottle and followed Noah outside, He took me to the auditorium and opened it using the keys that he had, and we took a route behind the stage I had never been before it was too dark I even stumbled upon something and he grabbed my hand before I fell.

I was starting to think why I would blindly trust a guy who I had met only a few days ago and decide to get out of the room this late without even questioning anything but there was something in my heart which conflicted with my brain making me feel I was safe with him and he wouldn't let anything happen to me.

He kept holding my hand like I was a kid trying to cross the road and led me to an elevator I never knew existed before. It was a huge one probably used to only move equipment and lights up. We soon reached the 13th floor and it has multiple rooms, including the projection room, lightroom, and audio room, I was still wondering why he would bring me here but then he started climbing a bunch of spiral steps it was pitch dark and silent except for the noise that my heels kept making.

When we reached a so-called 14th floor, It again had abundant classrooms all locked and there was a giant door, He opened the door that led to a balcony, it was huge.

" Can you climb with those shoes? " He said pointing towards a ladder that leads to the tank

" No, I can remove them here and climb up " I was wearing a pair of nude heels today and there was no way I could climb with it.

" No, you might need ur shoes up there, there might be pieces of broken glass up there "

I was thankful I had my bag with me still I quickly put the bottle of wine and my heels inside and zipped it up ready to go up

" Here give to me I'll carry them, hold the rails and climb up carefully " I removed my backpack and handed it to him.

After climbing the longest ladder I have ever climbed in my life I reached the top, this was probably the best view of New York I had seen, we were almost 15 floors high and I could see the whole New York skyline from here, everything looked so small. The sight of bright light reflecting on the calm East river, The way the Brooklyn bridge held the Manhattan Island together brought a smile on my face. The unstoppable movement of vehicles and lights flashing showing the city never sleeps, It was the best views of new york I had ever seen, It was breathtaking and could make anyone fall in love with the city.

" Isn't it a beauty? " He said standing next to me admiring the view we were looking at.

"It's perfect "

" Here wear ur heels before walking around," He said putting down my heels, I held on to his shoulder for support.

" Why do people litter such places, It's so beautiful up here "

" Well, that people might just be me "

" No one comes here, Mostly just me " I was struggling hard to wear my heels and kept scolding myself for wearing them realizing how tough it is to wear them and walk around

" You come here always? "  I said lifting my head before moving my hair back which was continuing to fall on my face coving my sight

" Not always but when I want to run away from the world, I find my peace here, I have written most of my songs here, It calms me down and brings the best in me I think " There was a wide smile on his face full of admiration.

" Come let's sit there, That is where you find the best view," He said leading me towards the end, It was scary at first but then when looking at the view it was worth it. He opened the wine bottle using his teeth and offered it to me

"It's your day, you should drink first," I said without hesitation he took the bottle to his mouth and gulped it

I remembered I had my polaroid in my bag, I quickly took it out to click a picture of him to make this beautiful day for him

" Cheeeseeee," I said as he looked at me with the bottle in his hand, He was happy and that was evident on his face, he gulped it again before handing the bottle to me.

" If you wanted to do music, then why are you here? " I asked him taking a sip of the wine I had stolen from Tay's closet, it was not cold and the best wine I have tasted but It was perfect for the weather outside, it was cold and breezy up there and the wine was creating the heat that was much needed for my body.

" I can't afford to go to a music school, I had a choice to choose between a few colleges where i was offered a scholarship, and NYU best suited me cause of the exposure it has towards music. "

" I have been waiting all my life for this chance Alicia, to perform a solo on a stage like Summerfest, and I want to make the best out of it, " He said looking at me, I couldn't see much of his face but there was some glitter in his eyes indicating a sense of emotion.

"  I am sure you will make us proud "

" So when can I hear your new song? " We had finished almost half the bottle of wine by now and it still wasn't enough to keep me from catching a cold, I was almost shivering and even sneezed a couple of times, He removed his leather and gave it to me.

" Guess the jacket loves me more than you "

" Hey, I am so sorry about Sophie, She is sweet, IDK sometimes she just speaks without thinking, she didn't mean to hurt you, I am sure if she gets to know you better you will love her, " He said handing me the bottle

All the words from Sophie had created a flashback for me and the words were circling me like they wanted to consume me completely till I get drowned, Like the eye of a cyclone full of pain and darkness, I never want to go back to that phase of my life.

Just remembering how bad the night went made me gulp more wine, a lot more than I could take, I am not a good drinker, 2 shots of vodka is enough to get the other side of me, and the wine I was consuming to hide my pain wasn't in my favor.

" You might want to take it a bit slow "

I wasn't even listening to him, as I gulped more wine than needed my throat was burning, burning down all the things I was feeling.....
