"You need mental help." King stalefaced me. "You is down horrendous." He laughed.
"Shut up bitch." I mumbled while playing with Asami's fingers while he slept.
"Say it wit yo chest lil nigga."
"Nigga shut the fuck up." I mushed his head and sat in my gaming chair. "Don't you got work assum, get out, you see my son sleep." I mugged him.
"I just wanna know why all of a sudden you tryna fuck wit Kiko knowing she wit a nigga you claim to be your brother."
"First of all shut up. Second of all ion know either." I shrugged my shoulders. "She just reminds me of Koko." I sighed as I stared at all of Asami's features. "And the way she interacts with the twins is what I imagined Koko would be doing."
"Y'all won't never catch me with no kids." He shook his head. "Amira lil ass is bad she be beating tf outta Asami you needa teach him how to fight."
"He be letting her win cuz he know not to hit girls."
"Yea but let that lil nigga know not to hit girls but if a bitch hit him first hit that bitch back. These hoes be too comfortable."
"Anyways...get out." I smiled and pushed him out of my room.
Once he left, I shut my door and laid on my bed next to Asami before Kiko came in my room.
"What do you wantttt hoemahgod." I dragged sitting back up.
"I want you to take your daughter cuz I'm bouta leave." She mugged me and sat Amira on the bed. "Byeee babies." She smiled and kissed both of the twins on the cheek.
2 hours later...
"Can you watch the twins for like a hour pleaseee? I have to go somewhere." I asked Rosa.
"Of course we will." She smiled and grabbed Asami's hand as I held Amira and walked her into Luna's house.
"Kareem the twins are here!" She yelled down the hallway.
"Thank you." I mumbled and walked out the house, getting into my car and driving to my therapists office.
I got there in 15 minutes and made my way to the receptionist desk. "Appointment for Messiah Bennet?"
"Go down the hall and to your left it's room 107." She smiled and pointed towards the hallway.
I knocked on the door and this short, darkskin woman answered. "You're Messiah right?" She asked.
I nodded my head in response and she opened the door further, letting me in. "You can call me Tru. There's no need to be formal." She smiled and put her hand out for me to shake it.
I shook her hand and sat down in a chair across from her big wooden desk.
"So from what you told me in the email you're going through the loss of your girlfriend. Right?" She frowned.
"Yea she died about a year ago." I mumbled.
"So how have you felt during the whole thing?"
"I feel like it's my fault. If I was just paying attention to her and noticed she was in pain she would still be alive!" I cried.
She slid a box of tissues towards me. "If you need a minute that's fine."
"Nah I'm good."
"How have you been feeling about the situation in the last few months?"
"Every day her kids look more like her and that's been making me miss her even more." I sniffled. "She has a twin sister that lives with me and the way she interacts with the twins makes me think of Koko because she was never even able to hear them call her mama." I wiped the tears forming in my eyes.
"Do you think feelings have developed for her twin?" She asked while writing in a notebook.
"Yea, and I don't even know why because she's dating someone that I think of as a brother." I mumbled.
"You're situation is actually very common for people who lose loved ones but they're also close with their loved ones siblings. Honestly I think you should tell her, from a professional standpoint, it would be best to tell her because all of the stress from that aspect of your life with virtually disappear."
"I can't tell her." I made the yikes face.
"You should though." She frowned. "Usually when people tell that person how they feel it makes their relationship stronger even if it's just a friendship."
"I guess..." I trailed off.
"Okay I only have a few more questions." She smiled and clasped her hands together. "What do the twins call her?"
"They call her mama but we already planned to tell them the truth once they're older." I nodded my head.
"Ohhhkay, also how do you feel about them calling her that?"
"In the beginning I felt bad because she had to assume a motherly role that she didn't really sign up for but now I feel like it's bringing me closer to her."
She nodded her head and wrote a few things in her notebook. "Okay that's all for today's session, you can make another one for next week with the receptionist." She smiled.
I walked to the door and she followed me before shutting the door behind me. I didn't go to the receptionist desk, I walked straight to my car and drove home.
I got to the house to see Maverick, Jay and King sitting in the living room with Amira, Asami and Jasmine.
"Where Kiko at?" I asked them.
King gave me a death stare before responding. "She at work, why?"
"I just wanted to ask her something but never mind." I mumbled, taking my shoes off.
Damn this the first real chapter in a minute.
As I said before this book is coming to an end soon sadly.
What do y'all wanna see before I end it?
The next few chapters are probably all going to be time skips.
Messiah having a crush on Kiko?
Him blaming himself for Koko's death?
Y'all think the reason he likes her is valid or it's something else?
Sorry this chapter is so short
Vote and comment please🥺.
