I stared at him wide-eyed as he continued, "Your parents. They abandoned you and sent you to the planet which you call Earth. Abandoned you because they refused to give us what was ours – you. You are a child of the dark with the ability to control Aether, or which you call – 'Time'. Cassandra doesn't have this Aether so it's pretty powerful here, but on Earth where people are literally swimming in this Aether, this had no use. Pretty clever brats were they, your parents." He wiped the smug off his face, "But now we will recreate this world as Dark-nebulla will reign over Cassandra."

"Wilburt! Wake up! This is not the time to be fooled by his theories!" shouted Eloria at me raising her wand at Segast.

"Oh you wouldn't want to hurt your friend here, will you miss Eloria?" said Segast calmly mocking her.

But Eloria also grinned in return, saying "You don't know that we are friends since basic school...MR. Segast." And flicking her wand while blinking at Vess, casting – 'Intendus imperius!'

Segast was startled by her attack when Vess bit his hand pushing herself away flew off towards the ground as the thunder struck him unconscious. Vess fell hard onto the ground, trying to get up on her feet as I ran towards her picking up my wand.

"Let's do it." She said amidst the groaning from pain, somehow getting up on her feet as Eloria questioned lying on the ground,
"Do what?"

"When we were not able to find out our core matter. We had a theory of how our wands came from one, so what if it worked when combined back together." I explained Eloria as she lay on the ground completely exhausted.

"I have," came a voice from Segast gradually waking up, "Had enough!" as he casted a tidal spell washing us away, as I held onto Vess striking against the wall with Vess curled inside me.
"Are you alright!" she questioned helping me get up, as I healed.

Ten giant golems came bursting into the room about ten feet high ready to charge at command,
"Catch them just barely alive!" commanded Segast bursting into fury.
She interlocked her fingers into mine as I spoke, "Let's put an end to his mood swings." As she nodded.

I raised my wand and so did she and bringing them together we whispered, "Simul impericus" as our wands combined locking between our intertwined fingers.

We raised our locked hand in unison as I experienced a great surge of energy.

"Charge at them! What are you waiting for!" shouted Segast as I felt my body lifting in air along with Vess as we closed our eyes concentrating all our energy into this spell as the thumping of golem's footsteps could be felt shaking the air around us.

"Intendus imperius!" we shouted in unison keeping in mind the enemies as a great white surge discharged from the combined wand, turning the golems to dust twisting and scattering them at the same time to avoid reformation. Soon none were left as we saw Segast crawling back with fear in his eyes, "Back off!" as he sent his tidal spell again.

But this time it split in half not even touching us I looked at Vess whose eyes were shining pink, as I exclaimed, "Whoa! You have pink eyes! Vess your eyes are glowing pink..." as she kicked my shin, even in mid-air.

"Ouch! What?" I asked irritated as Segast continued blowing his spells at us, having no effect at all.

"You are ruining such a heroic moment by complimenting me right now." She said agitated and pouting.

"Oh yeah right. Look cool. Look cool." I repeated to myself.

"That's even lamer. And your eyes are also shining...black" She mocked me as I complained, "Black? Shining? That's not cool."

She caught sight of Segast trying to escape.
We pointed the wand at him as he rose in level with us, aging rapidly. His face growing all wrinkly as he was crushing from the sides shrieking as he blew up into complete dust.

"Seems like we do turn to dust after deaaa..." I was joking when we fell to the ground losing all the energy as the wand split off back in two. I landed on my back groaning loudly as I caught Vess landing onto me.

I stared into her now hazel eyes.
"Hey..." I whispered
"Hey." she breathed out.

Our eyes were locked into each other's as she rested her hands onto my shoulders trying to get up as I rested my hands on her waist tugging her down as she let out her sweet breath on to my face gasping at the sudden reaction.

I saved her, right? I saved my loved ones. I am stronger now, right? I can protect the ones I love.

Love.

I do. I do love her, from the start, but never had the guts to admit it, budging off from all possible moments. Always feared that I will lose her too if I loved her.

She stayed still locking her eyes onto mine as she dropped her head closer. I pressed my lips against her as a feeling of warmth flowed in me, just like I was on fire, my heart thumping wildly, feeling like it's about to explode from my chest, as I felt the warmth of her body which was also rapidly increasing as I felt her breezy breaths when our lips locked. 

He hugged me after we shared the kiss as I rested my head on his chest, feeling his heartbeat similar to mine, racing through the roofs.
I closed my eyes as resting on his chest, feeling the warmth of his arms around me, feeling secure, as a voice interrupted us,

"Hello! We are in the middle of dark-nebulla! You mind if we get out first?" said Eloria standing on top of our heads, as we both drifted away quickly, standing up on my legs.

"Ahem!" Wil coughed, not sure why.
What did he want? Pat, Pat, Good kiss?

I glanced behind him seeing a shadow escaping into the forest as we were received by Orlandous himself,
"Where do you think you are roaming around?!"

"Headmaster!" we all breathe a sigh of relief as we saw Benedict behind telling how he followed the traces left by caramel. Seems like the plan worked.

"Now, step inside this circle." Said Orlandous drawing a circle of light with his wand without waiting for our reply. As soon as we all stepped into it we were back into the nebula region as he flicked his wand. I felt drowsy falling asleep only to find myself on the revival bed.

"You awake!" said Wilburt sitting by my side, "It's my turn now." he said chuckling, as I saw Eloria also on a bed beside me with Benedict along her side.

"I had to give Orlandous the complete explanation for the following events," he continued puffing out his chest, "and of course talking the blame on me like a hero."

"It WAS your fault in a way." I said mockingly smirking at him as he grunted, "Ungrateful wench."

"But one thing is certain as Orlandous also explained it." He said putting on a serious face, "We have to be careful. There are people after us. And if possible, I would like to find more about my parents if they really were from this world."

I reached out for his hand, clasping it tightly, "We will." I smiled, "Together."

"Together." He repeated returning a sweet smile.
