Bolin's P.O.V.
I walk around Republic City looking for Ulazu. She went for her walk hours ago and I haven't seen her since. I know she wanted space, and I am willing to do that because she needed it, but I don't want her to be alone for hours on end. It isn't good for her to bottle things up whenever she's upset. I continue to look around for her and my eyes land on Mako and Korra as they walk out of City Hall. Asami stands waiting for them both with a smile on her face and I take a deep breath before running towards them.
"Hey," I call out as I get closer to them. They all turn to look at me and I watch their smiles fall as they take in my concerned expression, "have any of you seen Ulazu? I haven't seen her since she left to go on her walk and I'm starting to get worried." I say.
"No, she hasn't come back yet?" Korra asks with a frown. I shake my head and look away from them, hoping to see Ulazu walking towards us. But she isn't here.
"Where did she go? Did something happen?" Asami asks as she moves closer to Korra's side.
"She kind of blew up at Raiko earlier." Korra starts to explain and I feel my eyes widen as Asami's does. I didn't realise that she blew up at him.
"It was deserved," Mako mumbles as he crosses his arms over his chest, "He was being an ass."
"Maybe so, but because he was being an ass she's going to leave." Korra says sending a sharp look to Mako.
"Wait, what? Leaving?" My questions fall out of my mouth quickly as fear starts to creep into my skin. I look to Mako and his annoyed expression softens. He moves towards me and places his hand on my shoulder in attempt to comfort me. "I have to find her, I can't let her leave!" I turn and go to run to find her, but Mako drags me back to the group, keeping his firm grip on my shoulder.
"I can find her." Korra says confidently. She runs over to the vines covering the building on the corner of the road and we are all quick to follow. My mind is racing with thoughts and worries and I don't like it. I haven't seen her this upset in a long while, and I'm scared to think what's going to happen because of it. She wouldn't do anything, would she? Korra places her hand against the vines and closes her eyes as she takes a deep breath. We all watch her closely for a moment before she opens her eyes again, her head turning to look up to the mountains outside the city.
"She's up in the mountains, at the viewpoint." She tells me. I furrow my brows in confusion, but I don't question it. Ulazu loves calming places where she can sit in peace without the risk of someone stumbling into her. I thought she would have been at the river watching the dragonflies, but I guess it was an obvious place for her to go.
"Then we have to go. It's going to get dark soon." Asami says. The others nod in agreement and go to head to the mountains, but I quickly move so that I'm in front of them and lift my hand to stop them.
"Let me go alone. She's kinda mad at me and I need to fix things." I say as I rub the back of neck.
"Why is she mad?" Korra asks and Mako laughs.
"Because Bolin doesn't talk about what he wants." Mako says and I glare at him.
"Seriously, Mako?" I groan annoyed that he's talking to the others about what I told him in confidence.
"Mako, maybe you shouldn't-" Asami starts, but Mako cuts her off.
"Bolin is going to propose." Mako blurts out and my glare intensifies on my brother.
"Mako. Seriously, stop!" I snap angrily. Korra and Asami's eyes widen and I hear them gasp in surprise. Why is Mako saying all of this? He wasn't supposed to tell anyone that I was going to propose. But I should've known that he would tell them. It's only a secret when it stays with me.
