Fire Ferrets [3] Bolin

Chapter 25

It has been a week since Varrick's and Zhu Li's wedding. Mako had confessed to Bolin about his past relationship and although Bo was surprised, he showed his brother more love and support I have ever seen him give someone before. I always knew that Bolin is the most supportive person ever, but the way he's looked after Mako really just proves it. I truly feel lucky to have Bolin love me and support me.

Through out the week Bo and I have spent time with Mako and Wu, and we have also spent a couple of evenings with Hani and Rinni and I have to say, she is probably the most perfect person to ever exist. She's nice, kind, stunning, and she loves Hani just as he deserves to be loved. I'm glad that the two have sorted things out because I like seeing how happy Hani has become. We would have also spent time with Korra and Asami, however they both decided to take a break from everything and visit the spirit world. I am happy for them, and I'm glad they're taking some well earned rest away from everything.

Bo and I have also told his family about our engagement and I think it's safe to say that they were ecstatic. Everyone embraced me tightly in a massive group hug whilst his grandmother recovered from fainting. I have to say, I'm excited to be a part of Bolin's family, the atmosphere is so lively and relaxed compared to my own family, and I can't wait until I'm officially a part of it.

I yawn and shift slightly in the bed as I slowly begin to wake. I bury my head further into Bolin's bare back as my grip around his torso tightens. I feel Bo take a deep breath and he turns placing a gentle kiss on my forehead before wrapping his arms around my body. I smile as I do every morning when he rolls over to hold me. We have fallen into a routine. He would hold me until I fall asleep and then he would roll over so I can hold him until he falls asleep, waking up in the morning to hold me again. I have to admit, I love our routine.

I bring my arms around his body, gently stroking my fingers over the muscles on his back. He hums happily as our legs entwine under the covers. His hand lifts up my tank top slightly as he brushes his fingers over the dimples at the bottom of my spine.

"Good morning, my love." I say sleepily as I enjoy this moment of bliss.

"Good morning." He says with a husky voice. He kisses my cheek, dragging his lips over my skin causing a shiver of pleasure to rush through my body. I lift my head away from his lips and I smile at him as I move my body. I straddle his waist, feeling him through the thin fabric of his boxers and my shorts as I press my body against his. He hums at my movements, placing his hands either side of my hips as I press my lips against his neck. I lick at his skin earning a soft moan as I reach the sensitive spot at the base of his neck. His grip on me tightens as I begin to nibble at his skin, liking the way I can feel his heart racing beneath me. Bolin is a lot better than I am at being in command, but I like witnessing the effect I have on this man.

Bo moves one hand to my chin, lifting my lips to his so that he can kiss me softly. I let him kiss me for a second longer before pulling away. He looks up at me with a loving gaze, but I can't help but frown at him.

"Why do you always kiss me as if I'm about to break? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love when kiss me slow and gently, it makes me tingle and I get butterflies. It's just you don't seem to kiss me any other way anymore." I say, one hand next to Bo's body to hold me up so that I can look at him in the eye. He blinks a couple of times and smiles, his left hand caressing my cheek gently.

"I guess I'm just scared of hurting you." Bolin says quietly and my frown deepens.

"Hurting me? You've never hurt me before." I say and Bo lets out a soft sigh, his thumb moving against my skin in small circles.

"I know, it's just-" he pauses, "when the spirit beam hit you, I thought you died. I thought I had watched you die." He says and my eyes widen from sympathy.
