"Excuse me?" I went up to the bartender. "Everything is paid for, yes?"
"Yep." The bartender replied. "That gray haired fellah paid for all of your other friends." He pointed at Connie.
"Well, I'm going to try and get them all home safely now. Have a good night." I responded.
"Uh, wait. You all were, y'know major key roles in the war and were ambassadors of some sort. I know I've been a hard ass most of tonight but could I get a picture of you all to hang?" He asked. I sighed. I was seemingly the only sober one along with Levi, and that short kid was still playing the piano.
"I guess." I shrugged, and he pulled out a camera.
"Oh Martin! Can I be in it?" The boy shouted from the piano.
"Agh, get your ass over here then. Hurry, they're leaving soon!" The bartender shouted back. "Could you round up your friends and have them pose like they're sober at least?"
"I'll try my best." I unenthusiastically replied. "Everyone! We're taking a photo! C'mon line up now. Armin, get going." I pulled his arm and tried to get him to stand. I hadn't had much alcohol myself but threw up sometime ago, so I figured I must be a bit tipsy, yet I still felt conscious enough to order people around.
"Annie..." Armin mumbled.
"Okay, stand next to Reiner here, and Gabi- no move over here. Jean you stay there with Pieck- Mikasa- no I mean- god this is like herding cats." I went on. With Erich's help, I managed to get everyone in the proper frame for a photo including Levi. I took a spot next to Armin and Martin began to count down.
"Alright you drunk once weres, 3, 2, 1..."
"Hey who you calling a once wer-" Jean began to chuckle. *Click* and the camera flashed.
"Goddammit you all are all smiling!" Martin complained. I couldn't help but laugh at the things Armin was mumbling myself.
"Even Levi?" I asked as I went up to see the polaroid Martin was shaking.
"Even Levi!" He shouted, showing me the picture. "Photography is an art form in which smiles are uncouth and inappropriate for portraiture!"
"I think it looks better this way." I replied, ignoring his overreaction and looking at all my friends happy together.
"Well I guess this is the closest thing I'm getting to a good photo tonight. I'd say come back any time but you all were a bit of a pain in the ass so. Leave. That means you too, Erich!"
"But Martin-" the boy began.
"Nope! Find some taxis along the streets or something! Bye bye!"
"Gabi, Falco, Reiner, let's go. Get yourself a ride kid." Levi said, throwing some change to Erich and escorting the three out of the bar. I might as well make myself useful and help Connie, Pieck, and Jean.
"C'mon you three follow me." I said, grabbing Pieck and Jean shortly following. "Where to?"
"My home! They're staying with me!" Connie shouted following behind the two. I left Armin for a bit to find a taxi a bit down the street from the bar.
"Taxi! Take these guys home for me please!" I shouted as a car pulled over and I gave him some change.
"Ragako taxi man!" Connie laughed getting in the car.
"Bye bye Annie!" Pieck giggled and waved.
"Bye." I waved back. I went ahead back into the bar to get Armin. "Hey where's Mikasa?" I asked.
