chp 14

" aregh .. " I groaned slowly as I opened my eyes .

I look around sightlessly , then as I look to my left and looked down

I saw someone shifting around in the bed I was in , I then let out a loud scream .

the person immediately woke up , rubbing their eyes , as they opened their eyes slowly , they turn to my direction and looked at me .

they screamed too and then we both stared brazenly at each other .

" oh it's you Ash , you almost gave me a heart attack .. " they screwed their eyes shut then eyed at me again .

" where am I ? " I stared around the house , confused but felt a familiar sense .

" your at my house .. remember what happen yesterday.. " they ruffled their hair under the glazing sunlight pouring out of the half-opened windows .

Suddenly my head started to ache and I grabbed a hold on it .

" sorry I forgot , your body must be aching , I'll get some medication .. " they tried to reach out form the bed and I pulled their hand .

they didn't expected that and so did I , they fell onto the bed again but except this time on my lap .

I looked at them , eyes widen , they stared back at me and started chuckling .

" do you need something else ? " their eyes studied me .

" no .. sorry haha . " I laughed , awkwardly.

this was embarrassing. I thought .

they started to get out of the bed again and walked to the near table , they were wearing the same shirt from yesterday but had a different shorts , instead it was some kind of home black-white shorts people would wear at home .

My eyes widen again but this time looking down at my clothes , I almost got scared but realised it was a jacket covering me and I was still wearing the same pants and tee-shirt .

then my head ringed, alarmed . it's Xennete's jacket . I stood still and didn't move at all , scared to move the jacket or dirty it , I couldn't believe it .

Xennete came back with a few bandages and some ointment , along with some knee-pads .

" I'll help you treat your past wounds and also wear this . It'll help a lot . " they passed me the knee pad .

I helplessly nodded in appreciation and tooled the knee-pad , our hands touched and I once got embarrassed again but quickly took away the knee-pad .

I took their jacket off and folded it slowly , making sure that there wasn't a spek of dirt on it , they saw me doing it and smiled .

" it's okay .. I'll wash it later , you don't have to do that , thank you tho . " they suddenly said .

which made me freeze and stopped what I was doing , I quickly placed it back and put it at one side of the bed .

I was scared as it was my first time at some friend's house ; sleeping at theirs too , so of course I was nervous .

I made some space for xennete and shifted over , " here .. " I softly said .

Xennete gave me another bright smile and sat at the spot I moved over for them .

she then took the bandages she was holding and put one side , found a cotton stick and pad and then putting some ointment on it , I could smell a nice smell but I couldn't figure who or what it was from .

she took the cotton pad and dipped some of it into the ointment than signalled me to coke to them .

I came towards them and they started to rest to my wounds , it was slow but it felt rather peaceful , her hair was messy but still looked rather pretty .

I admired them a lot , or that's what I thought .

" your scars are healing , but they're taking quite long . Tell me if it hurts . " they suddenly said which made me snap out of my thoughts , I slowly nodded and then they proceed to put the cotton pad on my injuries .

I flinched a little while they did it , it didn't really hurt considering it dried up , it was more ticklish actually.

not too long after , Xennete was done treating it .

" done ! " they said and finally looked up and gave me a smile .

" thanks a lot , sorry that your has to do this . " I replied looking down .

" it's fine , after all we're friends right . " they said we a straight face and then looked away .

" you gave me your mothers contact and I called her to tell her you were here , so don't worry about it . " xenette fished out their phone and waved it in the air .

I nodded thankfully , " thanks again . "

" I .. I have to fix things with Jen and Connor .. " I remembered all of a sudden and knew I had to get to it .

" I'll go with you . " Xennete insisted .

" if your really do insist , sure . It's not going to be a lovely sight . " I told her nonchalantly.

" I'm good , let's go . " they replied .

I nodded , I felt more safe at the thought that xenette was coming with me .

" I'll call Connor " , I grimaced and scrambled for my phone in my pockets and took it out , then after dialling his number .

" who is this . " I heard Connor's voice , I was rather surprised , his voice was hoarse .

" it's ash , Jen told me all the lies you sprout to her , she's mad at both of us . we'll settle this in an hour , behind school . " I said solemnly .

" sure , I have nothing too lose anyways . faggot . " he said putting down the phone , and a monotone ring then enter .

I offed my phone and sighed .

damm you Connor .
