the next day

ding . my phone buzzed

I picked it up and saw the message was from Jen , I smiled as I opened the message .

" Hey ash , I can't walk to school with you tmr  sorry ! I'm having a basketball match tmr too , do you wanna watch my match ? It's at 12 on the clock , I'll be preparing in sch " The message said .

" oh. " I sighed at the thought of not going to school with her .

" Well that's fine by me , I'll catch your match . " I texted back to her , thinking about how I texted , I knocked off the thought and pressed the send button .

ding !

" cant wait to see you there ! " she's replied with another text before putting two smiley emojis .

I laughed when I saw it before putting down my phone , now I have to prepare for school , school was going to start soon so I quicken my pace . took my clothes , went into the shower before coming out .

Quickly took my black jacket and slide it on with my inner shirt and decided to wear rigged jeans before I cuffed it . done ! I thought . " okay got to go .. " I muttered .

I sped out of room , preparing to make my entrance out of the rental house .

" ash . " I heard before turning around with my heart heavy .

" what do you need mother " , I stared at mum when turning around .

" don't wear that , go put on normal clothes instead ! " she yelled .

" normal clothes ? I'm wearing normal clothes , they aren't even revealing ! " I yelled back , emphasising on the word revealing .

" go put on a dress or skirt or something , I don't know fix it . You look rather hideous right now . " she spat back .

" I'm going . " I said before walking out and slamming the door .

" HEY- " mum's voice got cut off .

god . she's insane .

Ever since I was a young child , my mother is a  house wife , she always took care of me ... in a way . she pays attention but at the same time no , she likes to doll me up whenever I was in my early school years and told me how I would be such a pretty girl when I grew up . that thought makes me sick .

Dad passed two years ago , he wasn't much of a father anyways , he was always away and wouldn't take care of me and mum so I wasn't really affected .

I shaked my head .

" don't think about it .. " I muttered quietly .

As I took the usual route to school by myself , take a turn to the left , then another left and then a right and then-

" hey ! " I stopped dead in my tracks .

oh shit , no .

I slowly turned around to see Connor and his group of " popular " friends all smirking at me .

" Wheres Jen ? " he asked with one of his eyebrows raised . 

" she has a sport competition this afternoon at 12 , so she's at school early . " I replied back to him .

" oh I see " , before I could walk or reply , a punch was landed on my upper left eye .

" aegreh ! " I yelled in shock , before almost tumbling down . Blood started trickling from my lower eye , I came into contact with it as I touched it , my eyes widen .

" What the fuck . " I yelled . " what's wrong with you ? " I screamed . He laughed like a maniac .

" crazy bitch" I muttered .

Soon , regretting what I said , a few more of his punches landed on my nose , getting hit in the face, my nose started to rapidly swell and warm fresh blood flowed out , trickling like a waterfall ..  a warm, wet feeling on my face came .

I could taste the blood on my lips and in my mouth , copper , that's what it tasted like . My vision started to blur .

I tried to stand up , before landing my fist at him to no avail , he managed to stop it and punched me again with a blow .

After , I fell face to the ground , I could see blurry visions of my blood on the pavement ground , bloody .. my head was spinning and I couldn't think straight .

" Don't get any closer with Jen , you faggot ; I know what your hiding . " He hissed at me . My ears couldn't believe what he said , how did he .. I tried to crawl back up but one of his friends put their foot on top of me and push me back down with a thud .

I yelped as I fell again , only to see the rest taunting at me " faggot , lowlife , idiot , disgusting creature . " was what they said and they laughed along .

taking a huge mental toll at me , my vision was giving up on me soon enough . I heard them scoot off after hearing Connor saying that I should fuck off . I tried to hiss back at them but couldn't find my voice . black

my vision gave up .

the world was dark .
